Visited 239 The High Street today and I was very impressed with the selection of products, items I had not seen elsewhere, the quality of the products and most importantly the high level of passionate and personal customer service from owner John Paul.A great addition to Portobello and a must if you’re looking for a unique gift for yourself or a loved one! I left with a gift for a friends birthday and I’m sure she’s going to love it.I’ll definitely visit again!

Ordered boots online and paid with PayPal. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The shop has a great selection of quality items at good prices. I love the boots I've found at this shop, and I didn't find them anywhere else online. I def recommend checking out this shop!

Absolutley brilliant service from this shop! Ordered a wallet unfortuantley it started to wear after a a couple of weeks. Contacted them and they couldnt have been more helpful, apologised and explained it hasnt happend before then insisted I take a far more expensive wallet as a replacement. Top class customer service. I know where I'll be going for Harris Tweed products for Christmas presents for myself and family.

Saw a pair of boots in a tiny shop in Edinburgh and immediately regretted not buying them. Searched online when I got home and found them on eBay via this store. Really pleased with the quick delivery despite the postal strike. Lovely boots and they were considerably cheaper too. Would definitely use this shop again.

Great, friendly shop with unique locally produced clothing and gifts. Have bought 5 pairs of shoes/boots from John Paul so far. Great quality and reasonable prices. Customer service is excellent.
