Really great restaurant/barFantastic views of the Wrekin, real home made cooked food, no microwave garbage, excellent choice and the staff especially the waitresses are fabulous.

It was lovely we enjoyed our meal very much the service was excellent food too but to top it all the pub had such a beautiful outlook lives up to its name all lovely

Came in for a Sunday lunch advertised 12-5pm. We arrived at 4pm. Staff had to check if they were still serving food and we were told yes. Ordered 2 Sunday roasts, came after about 15-20 mins. 2 of my roasts potatoes not really appetising, black and had been re-fried in a fryer. Carrots virtually raw, and beans were frozen veg. Frozen Yorkshire puddings, please make them, it's really easy and so much better. All in all, filled a gap but will mot be rushing back.

I’m amazing at this pub, my 3x great-grandfather owned it from 1871 to 1911 and probably longer.

Popped into wrekin view for lunch just had something light we both had baked potatoes I had Mary Rose lots of prawns in it and tasted lovely my girlfriend had cheese and beans we had side order of ouion rings home made all cooked fresh bit of a wait for the food but well worth the wait

Fantastic hospitality, fantastic food and plenty of it. Amazing Landlady and Landlord, very welcoming.Will definately be back when next in the area
