We stopped for lunch and as always (we have ordered home delivery several times) the food was as usual delicious, filling and well presented. The only reason this visit is getting 3 stars is the chair cover material and kickboards in the boothed seating areas were dirty. Our table was also sticky" and tacky feeling all over the top and dirty on the edges of the table. It really wasn't pleasant to have the fabric of my top semi stick to the table during lunch.Food perfect

Me and my partner were walking around looking for coffee when we stumbled upon this gem. We were invited in as we were looking at the signage on the door. It had a classic american dinner feel and the staff were really friendly. We ordered drinks, they came within 5 minutes and tasted amazing compared to most places I've been for coffee. (Caramel cappuccino) absolutely smashed that one. The burger was chunky, tasty and for a double it was a great price. If your passing by or looking for coffee as well, it's well worth your time and money.

1st time at Egg Drop. Had 30 mins to kill as had an appointment on the Broadway. Ordered classic eggs & Avo at 11.45am, two tables eating at the time, i didn't think to ask any waiting time as there were only 4 other people. I asked the member of staff if the food was on its way as 30 minutes had passed & the time for 2 poached eggs on toasted bap, smashed avocado & rocket garnish. The gentleman informed me that it was fresh food. Point taken but only 4 other people eating.Lovely food but service time needs to be addressed.I have worked in catering/hospitality for 30 years, service & chef, its not easy but when your restaurant/cafe is quiet, you would expect the food to be served sooner than 30 minutes.

We were recommended by my daughter, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone else.staff friendly and can't do enough for you. Food very very tasty. Lovely atmosphere and fairly priced.very clean .will be using again .

Me and my partner popped in for breakfast and when we arrived there were only 4 other groups so we thought food would be relatively quick; we was wrong. Took 15 minutes for our order to be taken and drinks then arrived within 5-10 minutes which was fine. However after 45 minutes of waiting for food it still hadn’t been cooked, we were then informed that our food would be next. 20 minutes later the table next to us received their food. All in all it took around 1hr 25 minutes for a simple breakfast to come out. When the food finally came out it wasn’t even worth the wait. Could clearly tell it had been reheated in the microwave as on one plate the toast and butter looked fresh but the other plate the toast was soggy. The egg looked like it had been left on the griddle for about 20minutes as the bottom of it was black & crispy and the texture was like eating a rubber. The food overall was very poor and not worth the 1hr 25 minute wait never mind the price. If there is a long wait on food this should be explained on arrival. We also noticed that what I can only describe as a homeless person walking around the kitchen as there was a man walking around the kitchen in his pyjamas which isn’t professional. Unfortunately I won’t be returning which is disappointing as at first I thought it had real potential.

Absolutely beautiful food, tasted fresh and was very tasty. Lots of options too! The coffee was lovely and not too milky or overpowering. Only complaint is that there was only 1 highchair in the whole cafe and it was already booked out so had to feed my son in the pram. Other than that I have 0 complaints! Will definitely be back!

An excellent dining experience, very affordable and delicious. Was pleasantly surprised by the range of dishes available given the name and especially by the beverage options on tap (a nice range and quality of ciders especially)!This is the first time I’ve felt inclined to leave a review for a place on Google, and I will be visiting again. 5/5, a gem in the heart of the Broadway!
