Newent Auto Centre

Having broken down with a steering issue, near Newent, I came across the auto centre and explained my dilemma. Immediately a technician was allocated and he identified the fault, ordered a part and started to strip down the car whilst waiting for the part to arrive. An hour later it was all repaired and I was able to continue my journey.This was the best service I have received from any garage and if they were located near me I would be using them every time. Thoroughly recommended.

After taking my car into this garage for a few repairs, it came back to me in worse condition. They had broken a vital part of the engine along with having dismantled my steering wheel and then putting it back on in a state of which the car became difficult to control on the road. Firstly, I was mortified they thought this was acceptable to be given back to me in this condition, but when I asked him to fix the problems, they obviously caused, Adrian said ‘it’s a coincidence and I would have to pay for these repairs as I couldn’t prove they broke it’. For which the damage they had caused to my car was going to cost me hundreds of pounds to repair. In the end they did not fix what they had broken, yet demanded I were to leave and not come back. After being such a loyal customer I expected more from this garage. I’m very disappointed.

After 12 years in the US, I took my car to Newent Auto Centre for it's MOT. They called me to say I would be giving up a month of MOT if I had it done now. I also asked them to look at a knocking sound coming from underneath the car, fully expecting it to be related to the suspension and quite costly. Called them and they explained it was just some plastic that had come loose and was overlapping so they fixed it back on. They said no charge!! No charge! It still took them time to diagnose, fix it and they drove it on the road to check. I expected to pay for their time. Very impressed with them, their honesty and the way they treat customers. Happy they are my local garage!

I arrived at my work in Newent with a flat tyre .... these guys came out and fixed it within the hour. They were straightforward, old fashioned, decent to deal with and didn't rip me off. I can't over state what a difference they made to an otherwise difficult day! Thank you Newent Auto Centre x.

Honest and friendly, I was mis-informed by another garage that my car needed over £100 worth of work doing to it. I took it to Newent auto Centre and asked them to do the work. When I arrived back to them they told me the work wasn't needed and proved it to me by showing me. Thanks to their honesty I'm £100 better off now than I was this morning ☺☺

I've struggled to find a garage who I can use that doesn't rip me off. I think I've finally found one!I took a chance and booked via a garage comparison website. I received a call back within the hour to confirm my booking. The garage also picked up and delivered my vehicle from my place of work free of charge, despite being 9 miles away. I honestly thought that because they were the cheapest, they will look for things to fail my car on the MOT for.I knew my 2 rear tyres would need replacing to pass the MOT but no idea on what else. The mechanic called me as soon he got to the shop confirming I'd need 2 tyres. To my surprise he instantly quoted me for 2 budget tyres (which I use) and the quote was cheaper than anywhere I could find online.Then a few hours later I received a call to say my car had passed the MOT the full service was complete and with the exception of the tyres. The price I received on the comparison website was my price to pay. The car was then dropped off at my place to work shortly after.I genuinely can't fault the work or service I received. I'd definitely be using them again (hopefully only for my routine maintenance).

Got a puncture on the B4215, where Green Flag apparently couldn't find me for a rescue. Happily found Newent Auto Centre on Google Maps. Within c.30mins of calling they'd sent a mechanic to help put the spare on, taken the wheel back to the garage to fit a new tyre, and then had me back on the road properly for a very reasonable price. Couldn't have asked for a better experience; seriously impressed, and saved a lot of potential trouble with work!

Asked for my bike to be fixed got told 2 and half hours waited 2 weeks and when I was short tempered which is obvious as the job still wasn't finished they said for that attitude we aren't going to fix it where I had to get a friend to collect and another garage to fix it worse place I've ever taken a vehicle and I've been on the road for years now. Would highly not recommend.

Phoned up to get my mot in ASAP as it was late. I was able to take it in the next day which was a Saturday. All done in 2 hours. Well pleased .
