Alex came to fully transform our back room. Stripping the walls and ceiling, he prepared them with great attention to detail to ensure the job was done properly. Walls were re-plastered, painted and wallpaper hung as required, coving installed, all woodwork sanded and painted and can fully recommend Alex for his dedication and professional attitude. We shall certainly be hiring him again for larger redecorating projects and wholly recommend him to others irrespective of the job in mind. Alex works well and was happy to talk things through during the task in case we wanted to amend our plans which was a nice touch. Quote received was the final bill so no hidden surprises. First came across Alex when my wife and I invited several plasterers to quote for the job of plastering a rather dilapidated room in our stone built house in 2018. We were initially struck by his down-to-earth, friendly demeanour, his willingness to discuss the job, and in particular, the enthusiasm with which he spoke of being sympathetic to the building using traditional techniques. Consequently, we instructed him to strip the crumbling plaster back to the bare stone, and he set about the painstaking task of building up the layers of the wall from scratch using traditional lime plaster.It is now nearing the end of 2019, and since then he has completed a variety of jobs at our house, including dry lining walls, plastering wall repairs, plastering ceilings, and a variety of skilled interior and exterior painting. He continues to point us in the right direction on every job and completes every task to the same high standard. Highly recommended.

Totland Parish Council are extremely pleased with the work carried out by Alex Wilson on the very tired looking Parish Office. He did such a great job and fitted around the office opening hours really well. Some interesting and unexpected matters along the way which he researched and dealt with quickly. Alex plastered all walls and ceiling in my dining room to a high standard. He took the same amount of time as he said he would to complete the job would definitely use him again.

We were happy with both the plastering work that Alexander did for us and also that he was able to do it in the timescale we wanted and with minimal mess. We hope to use him again later this year.

Alex has been working on a refurbishment project for the past couple of months and has consistently delivered a high standard of work.Last week he plastered the ceiling and walls of a large kitchen diner and then worked on levelling the floors, prior to tiling.He plans well, maintains a high standard of work and will stay on to get the job completed.I look forward to him working with us again.
