The Private GP Clinic

This is the biggest GP scam I have seen in this area. They obviously know how difficult it is to obtain a NHS GP appointment and completely abuse the situation. I only needed a GP referral but this practice was only prepared to give me a 40 minute in person appointment with the GP at a cost of £150. When I tried to explain that a 40 minute face to face consultation was totally over the top for my problem (a problem which the GP could do nothing about anyway apart from referring me to a specialist consultant) they were adamant that the 40 minute face to face was needed in order to get to know me. Moreover, the receptionist answering my call was arrogant, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Avoid this practice at all cost!

This is a top class practice with an outstanding Doctor who takes his time and helps his patience .Plus not been treated like a moron by a overworked grumpy doctor from the NHS.My visit was like a breath of fresh air after and huge loss of faith in the NHS , has highlyExperience practice nurse and can take bloods and samples .You can not put value of money on your health . The UK needs to see more of thoseClinics in the UK .I just hope that the practice will be able to handle the pressure as I am sureThis will grow very quickly.

Have been using the Private GP and Dr Bartlett for years for all my family. Often in high demand, but Dr Bartlett is how doctors should all be. Has expedited our health, reassured us and done everything he can in every visit.

Absolutely fantastic staff with Dr Bartlett, in particular, being so thorough and understanding. Booking appointments was simple and painless and most importantly, quick. I felt as though I was genuinely cared about and that my health was of utmost importance to them, despite them seeing many patients each day. Thank you, all!

If it wasn't for Dr. Bartlett competence we might still be looking for what's wrong with our daughter. Luckily we went to see him when we didn't get any joy with the NHS and we could not have wished for a better doctor. Have recommended him many time since.

Great practice with wonderful doctors and nurse who take time to listen to and treat patients. Booking an appointment is a painless process compared with NHS GP practices and I have been able to see a doctor at the Private GP Clinic when needed urgently. Highly recommended.

I do not even know where to being in expressing how fantastic this Practice is! The kindness, the caring, the time, effort, patience, empathy and the listening! Richard, the Practice Manager, said my mother would receive exceptional care and it has been phenomenal from every member of staff, we have been looked after with the most amazing care.Dr Bartlett this was the best thing you ever did setting up this Practice! I cannot thank you all enough for being so wonderful with my mother.

An exceptionally positive experience. Dr Bartlett is a kind, warm and empathic Doctor who is incredibly thorough, and really listens to your concerns, without any judgement. The practice nurse's are amazing - again very kind and compassionate. The reception team are friendly and efficient, booking appointments are stress free and quick! Would highly recommend this practice. I felt very valued and well looked after by everyone.

Quick appointments but lots of chasing needed to obtain test results and follow ups. This is the only time I can say that I got a better treatment and result from my NHS doctor rather than Dr Joshi.

DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC for Covid testing!!! Very unprofessional and utterly unreliable. We have contacted them by email as instructed on their website (and provided our details by email- very insecure way of providing sensitive data, wish we hadn’t done that, first clue to whom we were dealing with!). We’ve sent the email on Friday after lunch hoping to get an appointment booked for Covid Day 2 test for returning to UK from holiday abroad, for following Monday. Our flight was on Saturday noon. Nobody got back to us, and after chasing them over the phone on Saturday morning (clinic is open on Saturdays) we were told person in charge of bookings was working from home and would email us our booking reference shortly. An hour later we called again from the airport and this time we were told that person in charge of bookings was actually on holiday that day and they may / may not respond to us at all. Receptionist was not able to confirm as to why NO ONE was able to book us over 24h period or offer us any solution.We were turned away from passport control as were unable to submit a Passenger Locator Form, for which Covid Day 2 test booking reference number is required.Submitted an enquiry online with another clinic in Tunbridge Wells and received automatic email confirming payment, booking time and booking reference number within few minutes.PLEASE DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO USE THIS CLINIC TO SAVE MERE £30. It is not worth the stress and the hassle. Please do yourself a favour and USE PROFESSIONAL CLINIC INSTEAD.
