New Cumnock Outdoor Swimming Pool

First time here. Well worth the drive from East Kilbride. There's a small shop selling food and drinks, there are tables and chairs around the pool to sit at and eat, lifeguards on duty and to top it off, kids are only £1.50 to swim!

Just brilliant, wish we'd discovered it sooner. No frills pool but exceptionally clean and importantly, warm even when it was 10C air temp. Very cheap too. Why can't council pools be as nice as this?

Been wanting to visit here for months. Finally we had a Sunday with nothing on, so we packed up and off we went.Now, it was freezing cold and raining outside, but New Cumnock Pool posted a Facebook message saying the water was 31C. The wife was hesitant about the cold all the way during the drive. Even going as far as looking up alternatives nearby just in case.It was an hours drive for us and we arrived at 2:30pm. The kids had a great time and even the wife almost smiled. the pool was in great condition and everything was very clean. The staff were pleasant and we had a great visit.We will defo visit again. I just wish the pool was closer to home.

Great place to swim. Water so warm. A bit busy but foundspaces to swim ok. Everyone was really friendly.

A great place to visit always made welcome, a very clean tidy pool and staff are brilliant nothing is to much trouble for them.

Loved my swim in this outdoor pool. Could be doing with more changing rooms though.

Visited this pool for an evening swim during one of the adult only swimming sessions.The changing rooms were a good size and clean.There were plenty of lockers available to store my clothes etc.The pool itself is lovely, and wasn't busy. It was a nice temperature and not cold. It wasn't a deep swimming pool at all, but it was a good size to swim and get the benefit from it.

Love this place! Booked a private session for my daughter’s birthday, which was great value and such a special experience for her and her friends (plus adults!) Staff are so friendly, the facilities are great and immaculately clean. Pool surprisingly warm.

I went for a Boxing Day swim. There was only one lane for proper swimming because it was a family session. The pool is very shallow at one end and the steps get in the way when sharing a lane. The water was also very warm, like a bath. I’m assuming it’s not always that temperature. The staff were friendly and the place is well kept. It wasn’t great for proper swimming when I went, but I’m sure it’s better when the water is cooler and there are more dedicated lanes.
