Rose, Bill and all the team at Kane Family Funerals looked after my dad’s funeral last week. We are still receiving messages from the attendees about how wonderful the service was.My dad was sick for a number of weeks before he died and it was a blessing that we had some time to plan his funeral. He chose his funeral songs, their exact order and exact versions - and there were many things that he wanted Rose to include about his life. He wanted his funeral to feel celebratory, as much as that is possible in the midst of so much sadness, and he wanted people to remember his life with feelings of happiness and love.Rose and her team made sure that every single one of his wishes were followed - this feels like a huge privilege for our family, to know that we fulfilled his wishes and gave him the best send off, better than any of us could have imagined. Kane Family Funerals really do go the extra mile - they include so many lovely details and touches that we wouldn’t have even thought of ourselves.The service was absolutely brilliant; delivered, crafted and woven with magic. It was full of love, music, words, stories. Everything my dad loved. There was not a single detail that felt too much to ask for, and there were so many things we didn’t even know we needed, but Rose had already figured it all out! It was so personal and we know how much time, effort and energy must have gone into it - we will forever hold Kane Family Funerals close to our hearts.Rose and her team treated my dad and all of us family with so much care, kindness, respect and dignity. We felt taken care of, guided and held in safe hands all the way through. At the most difficult time of my life, Rose took away the anxiety of having to organise a funeral. There’s no roadmap for a time like this but Rose intuitively knew exactly what we needed and when we needed it, and this made those very painful weeks so much easier to bear. We can’t even imagine not having Rose and her team for those weeks and we are so grateful to Kane Family Funerals.My dad would have loved it and he would also want us to pass on his thanks and gratitude. My beautiful dad Douglas Sharp passed away on 4th Nov 2016. I cannot express enough how amazing Rose and Bill Kane were with the organising of my dad's funeral . The care and compassion given to my family at such a gut wrenching difficult time really was amazing . How my dad was looked after , how we could see him helped so much to say goodbye. How you came to the family home and listened and advised was so lovely . Nothing was too much trouble from the photos to the hand made flower cards and cat paw prints . Every last detail you gave , you helped us do a beautiful service for my dad and we did him proud. Thanks are not enough, I am truly grateful we found you and would not hesitate to give your company name to anyone who needed it . X x

Our family cant thank you enough, both Rose and Bill Kane went above and beyond in their care of us at such a sad and wretched time. Nothing was too much trouble, we are so glad we found them. Rose came to our family home and sensitively guided us through the blurr of making arrangements. I would say the service they provide is second to none, everything is very personalised , caring and professional Rose took time to listen to us and discuss/suggest possible options including photographs and music. On the day it really was a celebration of my wonderful Dads life and Rose spoke as though she had known him for years. All in all even though losing him has been so wretched Kanes really have made such a massive difference at this difficult time. From start to finish a perfect send off for our grandad. This was the first family funeral for us to sort out ourselves and the friendly welcome and relaxing rooms and people just set us at ease right away. Attention to detail was faultless and those special little touches just kept on coming. We loved the way all the generations were involved. The little ones loved decoration their wooden shapes for the coffin and there was even one for grandad's faithful pet, Tizzy. We knew before the day that it was just going to be special but we couldn't imagine the comments we would get after the service that Rose put together for us. Lots of friends hadn't been to a celebration service like grandad's and said what an amazing service it was. Grandad would had loved that. We cannot Thank Bill, Rose and their lovely team enough. We really feel we did grandad proud and this really was his day when we could show everyone how much he meant to us. Kane Family Funerals helped us do this and would highly recommend them. Our family were devastated by the sudden loss of our beloved son Wayne: I contacted Kane Family Funeral Directors spoke to Rose about the horrific situation we found ourselves coping with loosing our son Wayne 37 years old having died in Hammersmith Hospital in London back in September 2017. During this time my son’s death was under investigation due to his sudden passing.Rose explained procedures step by step and took care of all the necessary paperwork required at each stage of the proceedings. We can’t thank Bill and Rose enough for arranging our son’s safe and final journey, back home to Bradford, nine months later in June 2018, in those souring temperatures. Rose was a source of comfort to me from start to finish very understanding, sincere and dignified in her dealings. We can’t thank you both enough.Our family wish to extend their gratitude we can’t thank you enough for all your help and support organising Wayne’s funeral I came to look upon you as a friend going over and above, more than we expected.The Celebration service was beautiful combined with all the little extra touches you provided making such a difference. The chapel of rest was home from home so amazing for Wayne to stay over - issuing us with a key, allowing his family to come and go as and when they needed.Rose you captivated everyone during the Celebration of Life service for our son Wayne with your thought provoking words delivering his precious shared memories you made them sound so spectacular. Rose, Bill and the team provided outstanding and compassionate service when my father sadly passed away. We knew from the offset we were in safe hands during a very difficult time.
