Great experience beside all the huge campgrounds in the area, having 100+ mobile homes and caravans... very lovely owners, running a small but very nice campsite at the foot of Millstone mountain. Little outside of Newcastle, but easy to reach. Enjoy the quietness.

Fantastic spot for some camping, with great views and anything you might need to get away from it all. We spent 2 nights and enjoyed how close it was to the mountains and also Newcastle itself. Terry the site owner is very approachable and more than helpful if you require anything including a chat.Will definitely be back.

I was absolutely delighted to have found this campsite at fairly short notice. The owner was a gentleman and keeps the whole site in great order. The toilets were clean every time I came to them, the shower was hot and high pressure, and the sink for cleaning dishes and filling drinking water was good.It feels quite private being up off the road, the views are great, and it's very handy to the various starting points heading up into the Mournes. Newcastle is about a mile's walk away but there's a path the whole way.

Beautiful location overlooking the sea.Owner very friendly, helpful and keeps a clean well laid out site.We had the lovelist stay for 4nights and would highly recommend camping/caravan here. Very close drive to Newcastle

Had a great long weekend in milestone caravan site , really quiet and the facilities were great too . Terry is a gentleman and we’ll definitely be back!! Great sea views

Beautiful peaceful little spot. We parked our camper here for a night and couldn't have felt more welcome. Clean loos and shower, fresh after taps and bins. Gorgeous view and each pitch seems a little private nook. Only downside is that we couldn't walk onto mountains direct and the road is narrow and busy out front otherwise we would have made it a walking base. We will be back!

Just spent 2 nights at this campsite, 2km walk into Newcastle. Very relaxing spot and the weather was fab. We will be back

Absolutely love this little gem of a site. Terry the owner is a gentleman. The sites are spacious. Amenities are nice and clean. Lovely atmosphere with views of the coast and lots of nice trees. Close to bloody bridge and some cracker walks and pools. A nice quiet chilled out few days were enjoyed here with the kids.

did not get as far a booking - owner downright rude on phone when I asked called to enquire about availability. Obviously caught him at a bad time!!!
