Portway is a fantastic charter company. We chartered a great catamaran out of Gocek. The team at Portway were amazing. For example we had an issue with the fridge and they sent a team out to us and repaired our fridge quickly and efficiently where we were, which saved us a trip back to Gocek. Neslihan could not do enough to help us and make our vacation easy and enjoyable. We will definitely use them again

Ahoy fellow Sailors.I am just back from my first charter with Portway Charters.I really cannot recommend them highly enough.It is a small, yet long running firm, one the originals in Gocek I believe, and perfectly run by Nesli and Erkam. They have a very efficient team there, and everything is done to the highest standards and with a very personal touch.They arranged our air-conditioned mini-bus charters to and from the airport as well as our accommodation the night before our Pickup, as well as a hotel room for our last day (as we had a night flight back to UK). [Gorkam Apart-Hotel if you are interested].The two yachts (we were a party of two families taking 'Honeypot' and 'Panic') were immaculate and if anything, better than the pictures had lead me to believe.Honeypot was better spec'ed than I had hoped ... with a generator, air-con, bow thruster, in-mast reefing and an electric winch. Navi instruments were amazing with a A4 sized Raymarine chart plotter on deck and with the dual associated auto-pilot and instruments accessible on both side from both wheels.She is well decked out in the Galley with pots, pans, cutlery, etc .. easily enough for us to turn out good, decent meals, and entertain for 8 every other night.She is the first yacht I have ever chartered where literally EVERYTHING worked .... there were no little niggles about this or that not being quite right .... it was better than factory spec, as clearly the owner is okay to leave nice item on her, like old school navigation equipment and quality binoculars etc. She even has a well stocked toolbox!!Nesli made pick up super easy, and they even have a deal with the local Migros (their sainsburys) when you come to stock up on the first morning. When you do your shop, you just mention Portway, and you get 10% discount on your bill, and the shopping is then bagged and delivered right onto to boat (we strolled back, and grabbed an Ice-cream on the 7 min walk, and our shopping beat us back!!]. We stowed the shopping and slipped lines and were gone for an amazing week.Two other points to note. When we came to use our outboard on the dingy the first time the following morning, it developed some fault. It would start, run for 30 secs then cut out. (I know my outboards but this was not self fixable). I Whatsapped Nesli and within and hour an high speed rib had caught up with us and and given us a new one .... no questions asked!Also, we did 2 very small bits of wear and tear" damage to Honeypot ... which I am mortified about. One was a broken hinge on the Fridge which one of the children forced (grrrr) and the other was a very small nick on the dingy when stern too "free mooring". I told Nesli via WhatsApp in both instances immediately
