Applied for tax relief on my PPI claim and COVID relief. They sent me 3 emails which I signed and sent back by return. HMRC issued me a check which went direct to these people whereby they took nearly 50% of my amount as their fees!". THEY got the cheque around the 14th July and I am still waiting for my payment nearly a month later. When you ring you are fobbed off. I asked to speak to their accounts dept and was told "They're ALL away from their desks". I would give zero stars if I could. Rubbish service the whole way through.UPDATE - HAVE NOW RUNG A FURTER 3 TIMES AND EVERY TIME THEIR ACCTS DEPT ARE "UNAVAILABLE!" NOW ASKING HMRC OF PROOF OF WHEN "MY CHEQUE" WAS CASHED TO DECIDE IF I PROGRESS FURTHER. UTTER SHAMBLES

Bad, Got my address wrong so important documents sent to 39 rather than 19. They cold called me with lots of confusion.I called customer services when I got a letter from HMRC, the guy on the phone was so unhelpful, very unprofessional, couldn't tell me when i would be contacted with the payment due to me, couldn't confirm if or when my address would be changed. Will be taking them to a small claims court.

I found the entire service very vague and intentionally misleading. Basically they charge 39% of your Tax overpayment. This will include all the tax you’re owed separate from their PPI service too. If you are owed a genuine tax refund for any reason their service will piggy back that and they will take a chunk of all of it.

Found the process of starting my claims very easy, and within the timeframe I had been given the claims were settled. I did call once and was dealt with quickly and professionally

I was told on at least 5 occasions over the phone that if I accepted there assistance in recovering overpaid tax from a PPI claim I would not have to pay them anything .Surprise Suprise the contract that I received for my signature stated I would have to pay them nearly 50% of any refund .AVOID AT ALL COST .

I was cold called from a marketing company back in March 2023 telling me to fill in a R30 form in regards to what tax I'm due on previous ppi.I was promised this would take 3 weeks and a company called Goldman knightly are now dealing with.I now believe this to be a scam as I have heard nothing from them and made several attempts to call them and each time im fobbed of.I'm now extremely stressed that I have given my national insurance details etc to this so called marketing company.I should of known better.It's now October and I have heard nothing.

I received a cheque from Goldman Knightley in October 2022 but when I tried to pay it into my bank account it was returned! No explanation was given and I didn't receive an explanation from them. Since then I have rung them nearly every day and left messages and I have emailed them. Two weeks ago I actually had a phone call telling me that the cheque was returned because it was made out for the wrong amount and as soon as they were able to speak to the supervisor I would have my money paid straight in to my bank account. Two weeks on no money, no explanation and no response to yet more phone calls and more emails and messages. I really don't know how to resolve this matter. Can anyone advise me please
