Today 7/18/2023 my sister and I went to get a pedicure this morning at 9am well she had gotten a text messages of a cancellation for someone to get a waxing and my sister was supposed to get her legs waxed tomorrow Friday 7/21/2023 so instead my sister got her legs waxed today instead. We get there and it was only ONE employee there. So my sister goes in to get her legs waxed If there was another employee there I would have gotten my pedicure well that didn’t happen I ended up sitting on this VERY uncomfortable narrow two sitter couch for an HOUR!!!! from 9:10am until 10am. My sister enters the room to get her feet done and saids sorry I didn’t realize she was going to take that long to get my legs waxed. So I then decided not to get my feet done since there was only one employee there. I will never go back there again.

I visited this salon for the first time a bit apprehensive as I had been to one waxing lady continuously but have since moved home so thought I would try and see if I could find someone a bit closer.The service received was very friendly in terms of great conversation, professional, hygienic and a great friendly manner. The salon itself is beautiful, cosy and creates a relaxing environment.However I paid for a Hollywood wax and it took over an hour to complete. Usually this takes approx 20mins max which is what i'm used to. The technique used to wax is very painful, normally the hot wax is applied and stripped off in one go but this time the wax was stripped off bit by bit leaving residue behind which also had to then be pulled. It made the experience painful. I still wouldn't have minded but there's still hair left behind. The Hollywood wax isn't complete and I'm confused as to why considering this is a service they offer. I understand missing a few hairs or so but this a whole section.In all fairness to the salon, the lady did ask me if it was all okay and I said yes as I was in a rush to leave, so I take the responsibility for that bit. However for a salon that carries out this service, this definitely isn't the first Hollywood they have performed.I'm gutted my experience wasn't great as the place and lady was lovely, it's convenient for me and its very hygienic and clean. Unfortunately on this occasion I wasn't satisfied and didn't get the service I paid for.

The only place I go for my eyebrows and lashes! Julie is always so lovely and welcoming. I'm so happy with my experience at Charlotte Emery Beauty everytime I leave.

Dear Julie,As you were made aware it was my first pedicure.Working (and mainly exercising) on my feet they were becoming uncomfortable due to the hard skin built-up. I now have comfortable heels and feet :-)The atmosphere was welcoming, the conversation was equally pleasant.The whole experience was relaxing and I would have no hesitation in recommending this family business that thoroughly deserves to flourish after the tortures of the first two years of the pandemic.

My daughter has just had her second ear piercing with you. Once again a very friendly and professional service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you. Many thanks!
