Lovely little pub with cosy rooms, plenty of space and decent sized bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious and all staff for the entire stay gave excellent service. Also a 10-15 minute bus into Hebden Bridge but far enough away to be completely silent at night.

Called in for a drink and a meal after a walk. The festive menu was excellent: we went for veggie choices, of which there were many imaginative options. The meat dishes looked good too. The food was excellent, especially the ginger and cranberry nut roast. So was the beer. Good to see zero alcohol beer on draught (Lucky Saint), so much tastier than from a bottle.

We stayed here for our 8 year anniversary. Lovely location and cosy pub. Food was spot on for both nights and breakfast was also excellent.The room was small but it was perfect for what we needed it for. Only down side was the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly so any slight but if wind and it would open, so you lost a bit of dignity whilst doing your business.Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again.

I only popped in for a quick snack. The grilled haddock starter with sun dried tomatoes, red onion salad & pesto was exquisite and excellent coffee too. The service was also fast and friendly.

The menu caters to a diverse range of tastes which is always a good sign. Both the starters and main courses come in satisfying portions, promising a fulfilling dining experience. The presence of many local customers is a positive indicator of its quality. We will be back!
