We registered with this vet after moving to Doncaster. I wouldn't recommend them. I've turned up on time for appointments only to wait over an hour to be seen, I asked for text reminders for boosters etc which have never been sent despite checking twice that they have the correct telephone number and email address. At my previous vet you could feel the love for all the animals bring treated but, sadly, at Arundell Vet Care I always feel that my dog is just a number and she deserves better than that.I have now registered my dog with a new vet today so hopefully she will receive the service and care that all animals should have.

Went with my puppy in august because she was not eating and vomiting all the time. Seen the first day , made an x-ray nothing there. Went back home but had to return the next day because she was feeling the same. They said nothing is wrong and she should be fine. 2 days later our puppy died. Asked them to fill my claim paper so i can send them but they said they will fill them up and send them. Since august untill this day 8th december the insurance company still waits for their answer. I do not understand why it’s taking so long. Tried to get in contact with Mr Arundell but no luck

Dreadful vets if I could give zero stars I would, my rat was dying and I was met by a vet who did not care for my rat and pretty much told me how he didn’t have a clue what to do as he had only done 1 module on rodents, I also had a poorly cat that needed a surgery I couldn’t afford or he needed to be put to sleep they wouldn’t allow me in the room to be with my cat when he was out to sleep and they only cared about the money after strictly care about money and the patients next I understand it’s a business but these animals no matter how small or big are our best friends and should be treated as such

My mums dog was having difficulties giving birth so we rushed her to Adrundell vets at Bennetthorpe who confirmed my mums dog needed an emergency c.section or the dog & her puppies would die. This was followed by a demand for an upfront paynent of approx.£2000 or the surgery couldn't be done. My parents managed to get the money together & the operation was done. However the vet was willing to let the dog & her pups die if my parents hadnt got the money. I get that they are a business & they have to earn money but that is all it is to them 'a business'. No love lost or care for the feelings of customers or their pets. You are just another no. to them. The more pets thet can register, the more money coming in lining their pockets!!

Having just moved to this veterinary practice we took our 11 year old Border Collie for his annual booster vaccination. The vet did not check him out at all even though the dog had a heart murmur which was in his notes. All his other vaccinations involved a general health check which included listening to his heart and lungs, checking his ears, teeth, eyes and limbs. There was absolutely none of this during this visit. The booster vaccination was administered and five hours later my Border Collie was dead after fading rapidly four hours after the booster vaccination.I have since found out that booster vaccinations may not be wise every year and every 5 or 6 years would be more prudent, if at all. There is a consensus of opinion that booster vaccinations are unnecessary and may actually harm dogs. Unfortunately none of this will bring my Border Collie back and I regret using a vet with such a cursory attitude.

I had used this vet for a number of years for all of my animals, it seemed almost every visit I had there was something I was not happy with. I have have taken many of my small animals there and got the same diagnosis and medication every time and then they have passed or had to be PTS, it wasn’t until I changed vet I realised some of them could have been saved. The final straw was having my sweet westie PTS, the experience was horrendous, we was made to wait as they were running late in the busy waiting room for 40 minutes with a huge dog constantly barking at my sick girl, I then had to leave her petrified to be cannulated and when we was allowed back in there was a miss communication with the vet I am sure due to language barrier and he took her life before we had even had the chance to say goodbye, she didn’t go peaceful as suggested she crashed to the floor and was gone, there were no sleeping injection before hand which I thought was always part of the process. we was told to strip her of her personal items such as collar and blanket which I said I wanted to leave her with but the response was ‘take it she won’t need them, it will only go in the bin’ the body bag was brought out before we left the room and then we was told where we could pay, no time to straighten myself out before walking back into the busy waiting room to complete the transaction because that’s all she was to them... a transaction. I was so heartbroken I called the crem and asked to collect her ashes direct from them as I couldn’t bear the thought of her going back there. I have never stopped feeling guilty for her last moment being so terrible for her. I have changed vets now and been through similar situations only they have been handled with so much more care and I have had so much support. I can’t believe I stayed with Arundles for so long.

Rang morning of new years eve. My son's very large German shepherd had collapsed. My son immediately rang to ask vet to call to put his dog down. They had no one available and said we should bring him in to surgery; totally unacceptable. To make matters worse the receptionist referred to that aggressive dog which is untrue. My own dog is registered with you but no more.

Its hard to get to the place now they have shut 2 of them! The prices are ridiculous! I'm there all the time with the same problem with my dog even after doing what they tell me. think its time to look for a new vet.

I have used this vet's for many years now and I must say I have never ever had a bad experience staff are lovely vet's are caring. Until last Friday I had to lose my little princess of 16yrs and my god it hurt, we where booked in at 11 but not seen until 11.25 so waiting was not good, I had to ask three times what was happening which I feel when you going through something like that maybe shouldn't have wait. I do understand that's it's a busy place but maybe you could work something out when it comes to losing a love one. I feel I had to write this.
