Extremely high quality products carefully chosen and beautifully presented. I bought a kimono and was so impressed I bought another for my partner along with a calligraphy set and some bowls. They arrived gift-wrapped with incredible care. The paper embossed, the boxing just stunning. It made my partner feel really special on his birthday. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough - I've never been so impressed. Authentic, tasteful, affordable.... just so lovingly considered. Fast delivery. Thank you so much guys, I will continue to shop here for many years to come.

Feb 2021. I used their online shop to buy a gift. Purchased a set of sake ceramics - really beautiful colour finish and website description details are accurate. The quality was better than expected considering the price! There was a lot of care taken in the packaging, enclosed with more details on the small business which was lovely to read. The postage time was more than reasonable concidering covid, I think it was around 3days to arrive.Very please with my purchase and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a more authentic Japanese gift.

I bought a beautiful turquoise crackleglaze oblong plate, together with some birthday cards which arrived swiftly and so well packaged the package also contained a lovely paper crane which I will treasure. I will definitely be back for more purchases as the company is amazing.

I purchased a vase for my wife as a anniversary gift and the service was first class.Ordered Friday and arrived Monday.Packaging was well done and secure.The Bronze Traditional Japanese Ikebana Vase was a thing of beauty and was greeted with absolute delight.Now that I have discovered this store I will be using their services again and would highly recommend them to anyone who might be considering buying from them. The wee note inside was beautiful.

I received a package for my birthday of different items from The Japanese Shop. They are all so beautiful, delivered with a cute gift origami crane bird and a lovely message from Hiromi. It made my day.The kitchenware is absolutely gorgeous and I also got a hairband with a beautiful flower. I love it. I am impressed with the service and wanted to let others know too. :)

This little gem of of a shop is hidden away behind the auction house in Harrogate business centre, next to Kidzplay. Great choice of authentic Japanese items and very friendly staff.

High quality and authentic Japanese ramen bowls. I was searching for bowls like the ones you would find in Japan and these ones are perfect just like the other reviews say. As you can see the bowls are beautiful and arrived securely wrapped. I really liked the additional Japanese paper wrapping too - it was a lovely touch. Happy customer here and will soon be a repeat one I am sure!
