Really enjoyed our visit to Coot Scootz today. We booked our appointment and Roy was so friendly and very patient with us, we had a lot of questions and he knew his stuff. Thanks Roy we've got done number crunching to do but we so excited about the prospect of an electric moped. Who'd have thought! For our needs it's a straight fight between the Hawk and the Merlin who will win?

Lovely place, very helpful, lots of Electric scooters of various sizes and ranges (20miles -> 100miles) - there is a selection of kids lower powered bikes too.. £299 (3-6yrs) & £399 (6yrs+) depending on size... - you can also do an hours 1-2-1 tuition for kids for £20... either on flat concrete surface or mini dirt off road hilly track - worth a look..

I ordered my scooter online with Coot Scootz.They sorted absolutely everything and sent it to me!When the indicator got flooded,the guys sent me a new one and gave me instruction on the phone of how to fit it.I have just had a new battery fitted,as daily hill rides have taken its toll.Again the guys arranged its pick up and I know have a sparkly new battery! They kept in contact with me the whole time. They are amazing!!I dont know why you wouldnt go electric,it's economical, friendly and so much fun!I cant thank Cootz Scootz enough for all their help, information and being so nice!Buy electric from Coot Scootz!

The advice on which scooter to go for, the discount I got on an ex-demo model, after-sales support and advice, and their willingness to go the extra mile has really made them stand out. I have been using a Merlin Z3 for six months now to commute, and recommend an electric scooter in general, and Coot Scootz in particular.

Had my doubts at first because there’s a lot of rubbish about.When I first saw the Merlin l was impressed by quality the design robustly made so to find out more went to see Simon in Newton Abbot (coot Scootz) One arrival a warm welcome and cup of coffee.l wanted to be sure it was up to the job as where l live in Cornwall there are very steep hills , Simon suggested we took out demo Z3 each . The first thing you notice how quietly and effortlessly it goes no gears ,very stable due to low centre of gravity, I was impressed how well it handles going up steep hills and when going downhill when applying the twin disk brakes it also charges battery’s ,Again smooth braking good suspension .So we got back l thanked Simon......,then a week later ordered X5 because of longer range and lighter together in back of camper , lv had it a while now and lm converted its economic its clean , l can ride it put it in back of van no waiting for it to cool down no petrol fumes or oil ( l luv it ) ps only wearing parts are wheel bearings!
