Great Glen Gifts

Hi!We were just on our vacation to Scotland and Ireland last month. We were on a CIE bus tour.We stopped in Loch Ness to take the cruise on Loch Ness. That day, just as we were getting ready to board, when the boat came in, it grounded itself and we did not get to go. So, we had plenty of time to shop! There were only a few gift shops there and I’m sure I went in all of them. I bought my favorite souvenir. It was a Highland cow, made by Aurora. It retailed for about $40, and I had been looking for just the right one, and this was it! I bought it and was very glad I did. Well, we got home , and I took it to show my 96 year old mother and she was crazy about it. It made her so happy, I just couldn’t take it from her, so I left it with her. Now, I am trying to find out where I bought it, so that I can order another one! I called Aurora here in the states, and they told me this particular one was exclusive to Great Britain. They would not have it in the U.S. It is laying down and has a round tag on it, that says Luxe by Aurora. I am not sure if it was your store or not. I have enclosed a picture of it to show you . It was really cute and had fur that came down over its eyes and face. I am hoping you are the store I got it from, and if not, maybe you could give me the names of the other shops close to you across the street from the Loch Ness boat tour. This is so important to me, I am really hoping you can help me! Thank you so much, and I will be waiting to hear from you! I would so very much like to order one!

Stayed in Drumnadrochit for a few days. Went to Great Glen Gift Shop - what a friendly atmosphere! The gentlemen were warm, approachable and friendly. Whilst my Son and I were busy browsing, a cup of tea was offered, in which we accepted greatfully. An array of gifts to suit all ages and genders were on offer - the prices are very fair too! My advice - don't just drive through this village. Stop, take in the views, visit this lovely gift shop and enjoy the cheekiness banter with the locals.

What a great little shop! Went in to have a gander while waiting for our Nessie cruise and found a tartan scrunchie I'd been looking for. The chap at the shop was brilliant - friendly, helpful and had great banter! He made me laugh and went out of his way to be helpful. I left with a warm and fuzzy feeling! Oh, and a lovely scrunchie! :)

This is the best gift shop, full stop. It has everything you could ask for as well as reasonable prices and absolutely wonder staff and owners who want their customers/visitors to have the best time during their stay in Scotland. Fantastic Gift Shop!! We managed to find gifts for our nieces, nephews and grandparents all in the one shop. The staff were great, they pointed out all the local tourist locations and we found them with ease. Definitely visit again on our next venture up in the Highlands!!

Wonderful gift shop and fantastic service from the young lady serving. Dementia can be very confusing and my wife was confused about receiving a Scottish £10 note as we were heading home the next day. Trying to explain all was ok. The young lady quickly realised the confusion and promptly produced an English £10 note and with a big smile said there you are. Stopping the confusion. She was absolutely brilliant and a credit to such a wonderful gift shop. Thank you again for everything.

We nipped in to buy some gifts and the lady overheard us saying my son was able to get a nessie due to his fantastic school report, she came over and gave him a lovely nessie chocolate bar and told him well done on his school report. They were so friendly with lots of lovely gifts. Lovely little shop.I hope you liked the picture Max coloured for you!
