Stitched Up @ Stretford Mall

We (In Our Nature) partnered with Stitched Up to deliver four sewing machine workshops to residents in Cheetham Hill.Katy who delivered the sessions was amazing. She covered all the basics needed for working on a sewing machine, as well as covering how to upcycle old fabrics into tote bags and how to alter and mend clothing. The sessions kept in time and were responsive to what the community needed. The relationship Katy developed with everyone was brilliant, they felt supported and asked questions when stuck.Stitched Up were a joy to work with, and we would highly recommend, 5 star service.

Just completed a 4 week course in garment making and went from only knowing very basic knowledge of a sewing machine to actually making my own garment. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be able to make their own things on a sewing machine. I feel confident enough now to practice myself, follow a pattern and gain more experience in making my own clothes.

This is such a great place and the staff are fab! I have bought material there and also attended 3 of their sewing course and it has given me the best new hobby and passion. I've now made 4 dresses and I'm so chuffed. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. It is a hard recommend from me!

Went on one of the 3 week learn to sew course. Super friendly, great tuition great course As a complete beginner having never completed any form of art projectto bring anything home even in school I thought I was probably pushing things trying to give sewing a go. Came away with a pillow cover and a pencil case that I'd never thought I'd be able to do! Although I did break the zip on the pencil case the day after as it didn't easily zip up to the end due to not enough room on the zip it was user error. If I can come away having made items and a grasp of machine sewing anyone can.
