Rowfant station

Not much remains of the station, just the station building which is bricked up and disused.

A lovely little station of much historical background tucked behind the Colas compound.Rowfant was a railway station on the Three Bridges to Tunbridge Wells Central Line in the parish of Worth, West Sussex. The line closed in 1967. The station remains here today but sadly can only be viewed from outside and along 2 sides. The windows are shuttered off entrances no longer accessible.

This place has parking for a number of beautiful walks. It's nestled in rich forest and gentle farmland. A beautiful spot!
