Ullswater Swim Place
What an amazing place and Colin was fantastic-so positive, inclusive and all round friendly guy. We had perfect conditions for a cross lake swim today at lunchtime-my first time open water swimming in a lake and I loved it-amazing scenery to take in along the way-brilliant. My partner was able to tag along in the rescue boat which he really enjoyed. Thanks Colin!

I'd booked a 'Cross Lake Swim' with Colin and by accident arrived 2 hours early . . . he was so accommodating and happily came over and took me out. He is a really great guy and and was careful in checking I was prepared and that I understood the various instructions he would be giving from the support boat and the points we'd be aiming for as we crossed Ullswater. Great direction and instruction from the boat and useful feedback afterwards. Completely worth the money for the personal attention and service. Thoroughly recommended.

What a fabulous way to enjoy the Lakes. Swimming across the Lake, jumping off rocks, night swim and exploring some pools and waterfalls of the streams feeding Ullswater. The itinerary organised by Colin was suitable for all levels of swimmer and he made it a lot of fun. Collin even managed to improve our technique in the Endless Pool". Who would have thought swimming in the Lakes in October would be so exhilarating! Shame there is not a 6th star for the review. Thank you Colin."

Just completed the 3 day swim camp and had a truly fantastic experience. Colin encourages you out of your comfort zone without pressure or expectation. We came back feeling a real sense of achievement. Combine the course with a stay at the Another Place hotel and you have the English version of a ski holiday. We will be back.

Excellent set up-with incredible guides-I felt in the safest of hands. Really recommend the hike and chilly dip-you learn so much from the land and the cross lake swim is magical. Stopping in the middle of the lake to take in the beauty is a must thank you (especially love the heated floors)

My mum and I did an endless pool session with Colin Hill - we are both ex club swimmers, but having had a bit of a break from swimming, we wanted to brush up on areas of our technique to work on. It was a brilliant session - and we both took a lot away from it with a clear idea of which areas of our stroke needed work, and which drills would be good to focus on to help improve. The videos Colin sent through after were really helpful to refresh the memory and his explanations were very clear and informative. I would definitely go back again!

I have had a brilliant experience relearning the front crawl with the help of Colin. The set up at Ullswater really lends to effective active learning during the session and the resources provided allows for continued learning between lessons. I've had three lessons and my front crawl has drastically improved as gave my confidence and speed in the water. Very thankful I was able to invest in these lessons. With every penny.

Colin was a great coach throughout the whole morning. We started in the endless pool analysing my technique to make it more efficient. Every couple of minutes we would stop and look at different aspects of my stroke and makes changes.Following the endless pool we took to the lake for a cross lake mile swim. Colin provided boat support and encouragement during the entire swim. We would stop briefly to discuss my stroke and to remind me what we had been going through in the pool.Thanks again to Colin for the huge improvements that I made over just a few hours.

Had a great swim across Ullswater today with my daughter. Colin was alongside in the boat and gave us both some great advice along the way. The facilities at Ullswater Swim Place are superb and the rest of the family who were watching had a fantastic time as well. We will definitely be back in the future! Thanks again!
