Incredibly supportive fostering agency. All their staff and foster carers become like family and make themselves available whenever you need them. They help guide you through the assessment process truthfully and sensitively, and their ongoing training is wonderful. I am so happy to have started my journey as a foster carer with them, and having spoken to foster carers with other agencies or LA's I also feel very lucky to be receiving the thoughtful care they provide, both to their foster carers and the children in their care.

I have been with them for the last 19 months and I can safely say that the level of support that they give to their foster parents and children in care is phenomenal.They ensure that all of their foster parents are well equipped to foster the children / young people in their care.We are like one happy family - we all know each other and meet at least once a month to share our experiences, good ideas and practices and learn about new innovations. This is one thing which is unique to Fostering London Agency.

I would highly recommend anyone looking to become a foster carer to work with Fostering London. As a foster carers it’s imperative that we receive 24/7 support and guidance, something that’s not always available with big independent agencies or the LA. Fostering London due to being a smaller independent agency is able to give much more time, care and support to its children/young people.

We've thought about fostering for a long time and Fostering London was highly recommended by a close friend.We are a mother and daughter team and found that they were so supportive and helped us with every step of the way, through the registration and the organised ongoing training and support groups, which are regular, consistent and extremely helpful. I phoned around to a number of fostering agencies before deciding upon Fostering London, and I have no regrets - this agency is fantastic.Staff: experienced, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. They truly prioritise the care of the children and the carers as well. This is a matter of personal preference, but it means that every time I phone up, the person who answers will be someone I know. All the staff know all the kids and all the carers, so even if your supervising SW isn't available, someone will be able to help. As a first-time carer, this is the personal feel that I was looking for.Application and Assessment: It will take approx. 6 months from the first phone call to panel. It's a long process that is notoriously laborious, but Fostering London made it as painless as possible. The first few phone calls are simply to chat and discuss your interest and the nature of the work. I had ample time to consider my options and sleep on it before coming to a decision to move forward with the process.
