In August 2020, I had a horse riding accident and fractured my left talus bone and was later told that I needed urgent surgery. From the moment I met Dr Yousufuddin Shaik I knew I was in very good hands. Though I was extremely nervous about what this break meant for my mobility and independence in the future, his calm, confident and professional demeanour made me feel completely reassured. Mr Shaik knew exactly how he was going to approach the surgery and communicated this to me step by step.One year on, I know that I have had the best outcome possible, especially given the dangerous nature of the break. Now I am back on my feet, working and driving and have even been back on a horse! I am so incredibly grateful to Mr Shaik for allowing me to walk again and cannot thank him enough for everything. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopaedic ankle surgeon.
