David Squire Guitar Tuition

My son & I have been taking guitar lessons with David Squire for just over 2 years. In that time we feel we've made good progress & thoroughly enjoyed the learning process.David has a good teaching style and uses a variety of teaching materials & backing tracks to help you learn & progress. His teaching studio is comfortable & well equipped (if you're a parent you can sit on the sofa & watch), and there are a number of guitars you can use for your lesson before you decide to take the plunge & buy your own.

David Squire is highly recommended!My daughter (aged 10) has been having weekly guitar tuition with David for a couple years and she has and continues to thoroughly enjoy each session.David has a natural, calm and patient approach which encourages learning and continuity, especially with children and beginners. This approach, combined with his vast experience in numerous guitar types & practices makes a great combination.Each session can be tailor made specifically for you or your child's needs which does make things fun. Sing while you play; connect to an amplifier and microphone; create a recording of your playing; theory/ music training/ rock school exams, etc

David is very good with kids.My 10 yr old loves his guitar class. He has learnt so much in a very short span of time. I would definitely recommend David's guitar lessons!

I have been having lessons for over three years with Dave. He is an excellent guitar teacher that is very patient and lets you go at your own pace whilst encouraging you to progress. His lessons are good value and he provides everything you need for lessons in a friendly professional environment. He helps you develop good techniques that enables you to play far more than what is just in the traditional lesson books. He is also very flexible when it comes to fitting lessons in each week I have found having regular lessons with him has kept me motivated to keep playing as there is always something new to learn.

Dave has been teaching me and my son since November and it has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We both started as complete novices and we've learnt so much about reading music and playing the guitar from Dave. Dave is patient, understanding and reassuring and he has given us lots of confidence that we will get there and learn to play. Dave is full of tips, hints and guidance and it has really helped us improve. The lessons are fun, the atmosphere is relaxed and we always look forward to going. Learning the guitar has been great fun so far and Dave has been a big part of this. I recommend learning the guitar, it's a wonderful instrument, and I strongly recommend Dave as a tutor, who has been an invaluable part of our progress so far.

When I first decided that I would like to learn how to play guitar I looked on the web to see what was available. I have no idea why I picked David but I'm pleased that I did. He's a good teacher and easy to get on with and over a period of time we have become friends. As for my playing, it's only limited by my ability!I would certainly recommend a visit to David if you want to learn how to play any type of guitar.
