Beautifully located sailplane flying grounds and flight school. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Nicely situated clubhouse with ample glass windows offering a great view of all the action, plus good food, coffee and tea, and a good area to plan your flight. I will soon come back to get my gliding licence here. Recomended!

Just a quick thank your from an Aussie glider pilot. I dropped into the SGC to check it out and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I even did a couple of flights at short notice (thank you so much Martin).If your interested in learning to fly, this place is glider heaven and the people are super friendly and professional.

I should declare an interest. I am a member of the club.A great place to learn to fly. Get the Learn to Fly package. Includes three month's membership I think, but most of the balance goes towards your flying time.

Nervous as a lady mid 70's 1st trip. WOW great experience as a buzzard flew beside us, fantastic scenery. Well looked after and l took the controls. Highly recommend great fun.
