10/10 customer service today, really impressive!Took 2 x heart rate monitors in for new batteries. The back of one of them was knackered and wouldn’t come off. The Salesman took the time to get it off for me and fitted the batteries.The watches still didn’t work. The salesman asked me to leave the watches with him so he could investigate.I came back an hour later and both watches were working perfectly.Way over and above the customer service you would expect for buying 2 new batteries. Really fantastic service. I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

2 of my shoes were damaged. My pumps were ripped on the side ( a pair of them at the same place) and my brand new shoes were scratched and i never even worn it :( i only ask to attach protective soles and they ended up damaging 2 of my shoes :(

I dropped a few of my clothes off for dry-cleaning and repairs and although I had no issue with either the service or the pricing, I am incredibly concerned with the final hand-off. On the two occasions I visited the shop I was seen by the same middle-aged man. When I was dropping my clothes off, he could not of been nicer. However, the second occasion I visited the shop to collect my clothes it was as though the customer service assistant had undergone a personality transplant. There was no effort to engage, he did not offer to fold my dry-cleaning to make it easier to carry. Given I was carrying shopping bags from Sainsburys and a coffee, I had to take a minute to fold my dry-cleaning myself. At that point he rested both of his hands on the counter and looked at me with a blank expression as if to say are you still here?" The encounter left me feeling very uncomfortable and that was the last time I ever went back. Again the service seems great when they've yet to receive your money

Getting keys cut was way too expensive. £25 for three keys.EDIT: Seen there response, I did not get charged the right price, there was a 2 for 1 deal on key cutting, which I did not recieve, I suppose I was supposed to ask for the deal". I was confused because I thought I had seen a sign outside that mentioned this deal but it hadn't been applied. When I paid and stepped outside I saw that there was indeed a sign for this deal"

1st class service every time. Chap has time for everyone and is genuinely friendly. Never had to take a key back and loyalty is recognised as he remembers his customers! - Well Done.

DO NOT USE TO REPLACE IPAD SCREENS. This is not a review against the Timpson staff or service, as the people who run this shop are great. However, the third party they use to complete their tech repairs are not up to standard at all.My cracked screen iPad has returned covered in glue, which I cannot get off, and there is dust under the replaced screen. Not worth the £100 cost to repair.Again, the staff in this store are brilliant, so not a review against them or their service.

Lifetime warranty on watch battery but the guy claimed he cannot get into the watch to change the battery! (Despite the fact this is not the first time timpson had done it). Claimed that he didn’t have the tools! Total waste of time.Have had issues with this particular timpson before with passport photos and watch straps. Won’t use this one again.

I entered the shop to enquire about new watch battery. Normally good service. Today he was too busy watching something on phone .( loud music). Muttering.I said sorry I'm not hearing you properly. Because of noise.Grunt. Mutter. Will be 20 minutes. Shop empty. Normally takes couple of minutes? I left. Will go elsewhere.Postscript: I did go to another Timpsons and got the service one normally expects .

Took my 2 watches in for repair. Very efficient but also extremely grateful for the top customer service recognising that id paid for two lifetime warranties for one of the watches and not the other but generously accepted both. No nonsense good customer service. I dont normally do reviews but this commonsense isnt so common these days. Thank you.
