I feel lucky that I had the opportunity to record at Alma Vale Studios. Everything about the experience was professional yet laid back-which is a great environment for being creative. Also, Luke is a top-notch producer and musician. He truly listened to my vision for my songs and made them come to life. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Lovely studio with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Luke is a highly talented professional who was not only able to record and mix what I needed very efficiently, but also had a lot of creative ideas and suggestions to get the most out of my sound. There are also a great variety of instruments to use, from guitars and mandolins to a beautiful grand piano. I had so much fun recording, and by the end I had very clean and professional sounding mixes.

Luke is an experienced and talented producer and musician. He is proffesional, friendly and skilled at getting the best performance out of musicians across a wide range of genres and styles. The studio is well equipped and a warm environment to record in. I highly recommend this studio.

Luke was Great to work with and really knows his stuff.We are a 1920s band, so it was important for us to record live and find a studio big enough to accommodate 8 musicians to do this.The studio was equipped with a piano, drums and amps which meant we were able to bring very little.Luke understood the our music and the kind of sound we wanted to create, he was able to give today's quality, whilst keeping that authentic 1920s sound.Highly recommend this studio, Great space, great communication throughout and all round great service.Thanks

Luke was wonderful! He took his time to ensure everything was meticulously done. He was completely understanding when I wanted to rerecord certain vocals. He made everything sound great! Would definitely go back!!!!!

I needed a studio with a real piano and decent live room for a jazz recording and Alma Vale did not disappoint. The piano sounds great and Luke made sure it was tuned before we came. Everything ran very smoothly and the tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered on time - I was on a bit of a deadline. Would thoroughly recommend both the studio and Luke as an engineer.

Luke Cawthra has been the producer of my three debut singles (my stage name is Luke Spark), he played the guitars, arranged the songs, engineered recordings and mixed the tracks. He treated my songs with the highest respect, always listening to my ideas and taking them to the next level. He's got a great ear, lots of experience and he's well connected to many skilled musicians. Luke is also a fantastic person that kept me comfortable and safe to explore my emotions through music. I've enjoyed every bit of working together and I strongly recommend him.

Visiting Alma Vale Studios to record vocals for our EP was a dream experience from start to finish. Luke created just the right environment to capture some perfect takes, and it's no exaggeration to say that the quality of the recording not only elevated the music, but also the standing of our project in the industry at the time. If you need to record instrumentation in the highest quality, in a really relaxed setting with nice people that are experts in the field, look no further! Highly, highly recommend.

Wonderful, comfortable studio with an great sound and plenty of space for all types of recording. Luke is an attentive engineer, meticulous mixer and an all-round lovely person - couldn't ask for more from a recording experience.

Recorded a demo EP here with my band and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Luke has a lot of expertise in recording techniques as well as being a great musician, which meant he was also able to offer creative advice during the process. The most important thing for me was that he was genuinely interested and invested in our music and making it sound as good as possible. Luke ensured we had a great live drum sound and the atmosphere in the studio was relaxed which made recording much easier. I was offered the opportunity to sit in on the final mixing process, where I was involved in choosing the reverbs and effects that best suited each track. Luke was happy to explain the techniques he was using, which meant it was an education as well as great recording experience. We were very happy with the results as a band and would confidently recommend Luke to anyone regardless of the genre of music they are recording.
