OYO The Townhouse

Gorgeous hotel, we stayed in the penthouse suite which was just beautiful! We stayed for our first wedding anniversary last week and we were greeted by a card and a box of chocolates which was a lovely personal touch. The place was lovely and clean, it had a very cosy, family feel to it. 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants and shops. We will definitely be coming back! Can't wait to see what all the other rooms are like!

The accommodation was ok, probably not worthy of the high price. We were a little disappointed. Service was good, reception staff was very friendly and helpful

Fabulous stay at the Townhouse. Very friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. Gorgeous, clean and cosy room, and lovely bar for drinks. Perfectly located, just a 5 min walk to the centre.We'll definitely be back!

Firstly, the friendly gent that took the reservation was a delight and had us full of confidence; this continued with the parking exactly as stated and the outstanding welcome from the host (who incidentally was the only member of staff we saw) I would like to highlight that the service was absolutely fantastic, nothing was to much trouble as we enjoyed a relaxing drink in the bar - albeit a limited/budget style offering.Breakfast was unrushed and pleasant, although someone tell the chef not everyone likes that amount of pepper in Avo.Sadly… the room. The Penthouse! Indeed a treat by name only, and the epitome of style over substance. A delightful king size bed that you’re delighted to see once you’ve climbed to the attic… It was very warm when we stayed and that’s no fault of anyone, however have a way of turning off the heating! We were provided with the loudest fan I’ve ever heard and the one that was already in the room had been set to 27 degrees for our arrival, so like walking into a sweat box - this has eventually cooled by 8:30am the following day after turning off.The bathroom…. The pictures tell a thousand stories of luxury but the reality was that the rainfall shower is all you can use, the bathtub was badly affected with rush and both installed the wrong way round to watch the TV and couldn’t be sealed to actually hold water (a basic function of a bath. This may not seem much to most but having been the reason for booking (we don’t have a tub at home) overall the general maintenance of the room was lacking, and frankly gave a sense of uncleanliness. Toiletries were the cheapest on the market, and really didn’t live up to expectations or cost.Location is great so if you’re looking for a place to crash great… but don’t upgrade or plan a special occasion around the accommodations- you won’t be in the mood once you’ve arrived!

Both managers were extremely welcoming and friendly, and it was a fun place to stay in an excellent location.I would, however, recommend booking direct with the hotel as when I tried to book through the OYO link the rate was higher on the final page than it was on the preceding one!

Lovely warm welcome given , gorgeous rooms and a fabulous breakfast . Central for the city . Our second time here and will definitely visit again

We just stayed here and loved it! The room was cozy and centrally located.But the staff really made it for us, so great. We stayed in the Azzurri room with the tub. I highly recommend it!

The hotel was lovely, our Garden Lodge room with a fab hot tub was gorgeous but even better was the service, staff could not have been more helpful. A wonderful place to stay and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended ♥️

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! I paid a very reasonable price for the room and upon arrival was upgraded due to work being done in my original room which was very nice so stayed in Eden Lodge. The room was very spacious and well decorated with a large en-suite bathroom including a bath and shower. The room was very clean and staff were accommodating, anything you needed they would get for you no problem. Got a great night sleep as it was so quiet in the area. Didn’t manage to try the restaurant but the interior looked lovely. The location was perfect, very central and overall just a really great experience.
