Very good family run business. Prices are very reasonable considering portion sizes. Hand out new food items to customers to try for free. Always friendly service. Highly recommend to buy food from here. However, the food prices on delivery apps are expensive from here so always pickup instead.

First time ordering from fat Tony's. Ordered the family kebab. Child's cheese burger chips and fruit shoot. Large chips. We received a free box of donner meat and a free fruit shoot. Fed all 6 of us. And left overs for later. Great portions. Was gorgeous and still hot. Highly recommended. Defo be back

Use to be good but now the owners are nowhere to be seen. Takes far too long to get a bag of chips (30 mins). Even refusing other customer fish because it takes too long. Woman at the till taking the brunt of it all whilst the three lads hide at the back. Owner needs to hurry back from his Nottingham chippy and sort it out.

Very friendly staff and freshly cooked food. The only thing I can say is the curry sauce and mushy peas where very runny and the peas had no flavour.

Met the ownerSaid I would leave a review that was honestI can in late closing time … rookie mistakeThe place is sooo clean top work on thatCame in to try as it’s next door to my favourite kebab houseSo didn’t get to taste the oil from the main vat. Which I was told is very tastyBut what I had I liked. The fish was nice and crispy so the batter you can tell is fresh a and not too runny etcReally nice staff and deffo worth a pop intoKeep up the good work and I’ll be seeing you againI promise I’ll take a better pic next time too

One of the best fish and chips in Leicester! Very nice and friendly people, amazing service. Their battered chips are the best, you must try them! Portions are also very generous, you won’t go wrong at fat Tony’s!!! :)

We were regulars until they forgot to put the meat in our kebab meals and then called me a liar as if I'd eaten the meat.I drove down to show them and they didn't even apologise when they gave us the replacement meat (to go with the now cold chips)I'd just had my hip replaced so I could've done without traipsing to the chippy to prove myself, especially considering my daughter had walked there and back already from the Monsell because we liked them.Not anymore.

Care more about online orders than people that actually go into the shop. Ordered 3 things, they made 1 and then left it to go cold for 10 minutes before doing the rest. When I raised this to the staff, they just said it’ll be fine. It wasn’t, it was cold when I got home. Very very poor.
