Absolutely fantastic stay, the house is wonderful, the rooms are traditionally decorated and very spacious, facilities are incredibly clean as is the entire property. Alex gave me a fantastic warm welcome add provided an exceptional Breakfast in the morning, I would happily stay again in future, thanks Alex

Everything just a bit more than you'd expect. Décor charmingly Georgian, (four poster bed, polished floors, shuttered windows) bathrooms faultlessly clean, wifi etc...If you're late and text they'll wait (apparently) up 'till past midnight to let you in and provide a full (very full) cooked breakfast before dawn the following morning! Nothing seems a bother, no fuss, just 'yes' every time. Would recommend Carlysle House to the fussiest person imaginable and sleep happy knowing they'll be impressed.Good value too by the way.

Faultless! We had a wonderful couple of night's staying in a room with a magnificent 4 Poster bed in Carlyle House, a lovely Georgian house in the quiet village of Eccelfechan. Absolutely perfect. We'll definitely be back....can't wait!

Fabulous B and B which I would definitely recommend to others. Beautiful rooms in a wonderful Georgian house. Such a treat to be able to stay here. Lovely attention to detail e.g the very best quality bedding, wide selection of lovely teas, delicious homemade jams and marmalade. Very friendly easy going host. Just wonderful!
