SOS Computer Fix

My PC refused to start and i was getting error messages I could not understand. I phoned Chris at SOS Computer Fix and within 2 working days he had both fixed the problem and greatly improved the running of my computer. Communication was excellent and I would like to highly commend the services of SOS Computer Fix to others. I would not hesitate to call them if I had a problem in the future.

Deals are made to be kept.I am really surprised for such a straight forward issue there was so bad communication.- Since you were so astonished and confused by my review let me write it down more thoroughly.1) I am not referring to the money, as I know that the process of fixing a PC is ongoing and price can change during procedure.2) Good communication you consider when you were shouting or when you hung up the phone on my face? Which of the two exactly?3) The deal was that you will collect and deliver the pc. The first time you came (collection) you did not even turn off the engine of your car and I had to ask you repeatedly to do so in order to have just 5 minutes at home and explain you the situation.The second time you came (Friday) I asked you to wait 5 minutes so as to be there with your money. I guess you remember how nicely you replied to that. I then again tried to compromise the situation by saying OK let's do that on Saturday. Your reply was I'm not doing anything on Saturday (although says on Internet that your company is open and working on Saturday)4) On Monday (that we supposedly agreed) I asked you what time you're free to deliver the unit (as I have no car) Your reply was to come and collect it by myself! After 5 days without pc and realising that this will continue I passed by to collect so as to sort out the issue finally.If all the above seemed like a good communication to you, well to me definitely it wasn't.

I suffered a catastrophic operating system failure on the morning before a Bank Holiday weekend and was going away for a fortnight immediately afterwards. Chris offered to see what he could do that afternoon and even worked past his usual finishing time to do a repair. While not totally fixed he got the machine operational and functioning to enable me to use it by that evening and says he will complete the repair when I return from holiday. Excellent work and so helpful and a very fair price. I would have been in real difficulties had Chris not managed to get things operational again.Update: On my return from holiday I contacted Chris and arranged to take my laptop back to complete the repairs. While the rectification of the fault proved challenging my laptop was returned fully functioning and I was very satisfied with the speedy, friendly and professional help Chris provided. The cost was also very fair considering the work involved restoring the laptop to a fully functioning state.Highly recommended!
