Off The Scale Outdoor Education

We had a fantastic day today fishing with Justin from Off The Scale Outdoor Adventure! It was my son’s first lesson and Justin was so calm and informative. He taught my son about safety by the water, how to set up his whip and how to pull up the line when the float went under. My son caught a large tench within the first few minutes and was absolutely buzzing with excitement. He caught a further 4 fish and by the end said he had had the most fun!Would definitely recommend giving this a try! A fun way to get outdoors and learn a new skill.

Great day fishing with Stephen as a father and son. Stephen was very patient , knowledgeable and loved his fishing which made the day all the more enjoyable. My son thoroughly enjoyed the experience and wants to go fishing again soon . Thanks Justin and Stephen

My son Henry & my nephew Freddie had an absolutely amazing time. Justin was very patient with them & he gave them easy to follow instructions. Henry’s & Freddie’s highlight was catching two types of fish and achieving their bronze award. They’re now desperate to go back and achieve the gold award. We will definitely be going back. Thanks Justin for giving the boys such a fab time.

We had an amazing time last Saturday on a four hour fishing lesson with Justin and Steve. Both Coaches were excellent and very knowledgeable about fishing and wildlife in general, they are passionate about what they do and go to great lengths to make sure it is an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. They taught us lots of interesting information and we were able learn different techniques for catching different fish such as Bream, Rudd & Carp.I went with my brother and Nephew (aged 13) and had a fantastic day out. We are all beginners and were surprised how quickly we were able to catch. The time flew by as we had so much fun and learned so much. We are thankful for a great experience and would definitely take lessons again with Justin and Steve. I would really recommend booking with these guys as it is a great experience for families and groups of all ages!

I had an amazing day with Justin at a lake located only 3 miles from where I live which was really convenient for me. I went from being a complete beginner having never fished before, to catching 20+ fish using three different fishing techniques (using 2x rods and 1x pole).Justin was a great guy to spend the afternoon with, and we chatted about fishing generally and a whole raft of other topics. It was like fishing with a friend...He is not only very knowledgeable but he is extremely passionate about fishing and the wider environment, and talked about his desire to help people with mental health issues through learning to fish.I am looking forward to another lesson in the future in which I will learn the basics of carp fishing.I would highly recommend you contact Justin whether your a complete beginner or an experienced angler wanting to increase your skills.
