Purple Hound

We were staying at Slaley Hall and decided to have a potter around Corbridge. We stumbled across this little gem of a shop and despite not having our lab and spaniel with us, thought we’d pop in. The shop owners Mum was looking after the shop and she was incredibly pleasant and we had a lovely chat about our dog experiences. We weren’t looking for anything in particular but saw a beautiful bowl holder/feed station that would be ideal for our lab Chester. We said we’d pop back the following day to purchase it, and she’s kindly put one to the side for us. We are heading there for opening at 10am, before heading back home to Morpeth.

Popped in to this shop whilst visiting Corbridge - great selection of items for your dog, the owner was friendly and made a fuss of our dog, who was made up to be offered a treat!We will certainly be back next time we are in the area!

I’ve visited Purple Hound multiple times now and the staff have been really friendly and helpful, including fitting my dog for a new harness. A lovely selection of treats and toys too - recommend!
