Truly amazing! Spending a week to exploring the islands. The weather was brilliant for the time of the year.

Wow. What a calm experience, people very friendly. The scenery is absolutely stunning. Lots to do even if you just want to chill and relax. Will definitely be back.

Everything you would expect from a small well run airport, p.s the home-made cakes at the cafe are absolutely delicious! Well done Skybus!

A delightful and relaxing small (tiny) airport. Food and drink is available but no shops. Plenty of seats and great views to gaze upon even if your plane is late.

St Mary's the largest island but still very little to do on it. I certainly wouldn't go before April as everywhere is closed apart from the co op shop and our hotel. Only one coffee shop open on the whole of the island and that closed due to covid. We visited Tresco which is stunning but again everywhere was shut likewise St Marys so couldn't even buy a coffee, which when your stuck on an island for a whole day is really not great. I would visit the Islands but not before Easter. To be honest Cornwall is just as beautiful and much easier to get to.

Not really geared up to taking babies on plane. Surely they realise that an 18 month old will need favourite toys, books, blanket, drink, food and nappy changing equipment on board? Also we were squashed in 2 seats with baby on lap - felt sorry for the person in front who kept getting kicked by the baby. Listen and learn.

If you're looking for something a little different but still in the UK, Saint Mary's and the other islands that make up the Isles of Scilly are the place to go.St Mary's is the main island with the capital of Hugh Town. 6 much like 'old Cornwall ', but the inhabitants are known as Scillonians. You can take the coastal path, which skirts the stunning coastline and can be walked In approximately 4 to 5 hours, although if ypu stop for a swim at one of the stunning beaches, it will take longer, but who's rushing! There is a local bus that runs all day if you want to explore and bikes can also be hired. If you're feeling really decadent, you can hire a Scilly cart for the day!.There's plenty to do to fill your time and even a week never feels long enough. There are also the off islands of St Martins, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes to visit, each having there own individual charm. The Boatmens Association runs daily trips to these, leaving from St Mary's harbour every day, tickets are £13 for a return. We flew from Lands End, 15 min flight to St Mary's Airport. There is also the Scillonian passenger boat, which leaves from Penzance Harbour every morning through the season and takes approximately 3 hours dependent on the wind and weather conditions, just be aware though it does have another title given to it by the locals and regular visitors, the great white sick bucket!

I only went for the day for work, but had some time off, lovely people and nice pubs, beautiful scenery, and fantastic flights there and back.
