Cats Protection - Hendon & Finchley Mill Charity Shop

I recently visited the shop and was so impressed on how clean and well organised it is. The manager is super friendly too.

What a lovely shop! Always so clean and organised unlike other in the area! The manager (Wendy I believe she said her name was) often appears to be working alone here yet she manages to make herself available to her customers! Good on you!

Ok prices, quiet shop and nice enough. Dresses seemed mostly around £8 and up, so not particularly cheap.

Supposed to be open on Friday until 5pm. Went at 12pm, it was closed

I arranged for a few boxes of nice crockery to be dropped off at this charity shop. My driver found her the lady to be very rude and unappreciative. I know not to take them there the next time.

I love this tidy little shop. Even the back room, where they keep items donated by the public is tidy and organised. The staff is always polite and friendly. They are always grateful when I donate something. It makes me happy to see people who care so much for animals. My cat is a CP cat so this shop means even more to me. I just hope they will survive the lockdown. It would be a big loss for cats and this area.

I spoke to a lady called Maxine and here is how it went…1- not even a hello when answering the phone2- very impatient and inconsiderate3- completely rude and unprofessional.I understand that the place is run by volunteers but it did not seem that she was happy at all to be there. Extremely poor service from her.

I rang up Cats Protection regarding advice assuming they would be caring and helpful but got the total opposite. After trying to get through several times an extremely RUDE lady answered, she was very impatient, inconsiderate and unprofessional. She kept saying they had only 3 volunteers and people were ringing up dumping cats on them" I was so shocked at her behaviour and attitude and this was not what I expected from the charity who I thought was there for a good cause. With that type of behaviour I am even surprised they even have 3 volunteers because I definitely wouldn't want to work with someone like that! It seemed she was not happy to be working there or how she came across representing the charity. Afterwards I rang up RSPCA who were so nice

Always tidy, lots of effort put into the display of goods. I’d say bric-à-brac and accessories are their specialty. Got a very cool pair of cuff links in here for a bargain pricetag! Well done Wendy and the team! You are doing wonderful work!
