I love it up here. Everyone's so friendly and will help you if they can, the only one fault is that there are some theiving bxxtards up there who keep on pinching your tools by breaking into people's sheds SHAME ON YOU.

If you have issues ( Mentally), this is the place to be. I've just had a plot here in January and it does not matter if you're a keen on gardening or not. You take your time(Weather permitting) to dig, plant, and read up on simple planting of seeds,what time of year, I didn't realize home much I enjoyed gardening. Oh!....By the way there are Very keen gardener's here and will , when asked pass on information on how to grow anything. Good Luck.

Royal Crescent Allotments is based in Penydarren and has just over 120 members. There is a woodland walk, a sensory garden and they are currently developing a Bee keeping area with observation hives. Many schools within and out of the borough visit the Allotments as its turned into a great educational hub where children can learn the health benefits and importance of growing your own food.
