Protect Krav Maga Wirral is a superb school for learning to protect and defend oneself in real life adrenaline- fuelled scenarios, whether it be from people intimidating, physically attacking or even pulling a weapon out on you.My instructor, Simon, was thorough and equipped me with a lot of skills and techniques in 10 private 1-1 sessions. As someone who had never trained before, I feel much more aware and confident enough to handle myself. Simon is a very nice guy too.Fully recommend training here.

I really can’t speak highly enough of Tony’s training, or his club and it atmosphere of fun, hard training and comradeship. Tony Preston’s IKI is aligned to help real people confront real situations that may threaten them and demand a response. I genuinely speak from experience here, I’m 56, I have an office/teaching job and I’d joined just under seven years ago as a way to keep fit. Two years ago, whilst on Holliday with my partner, I was confronted by my worst nightmare - suddenly, when I was totally switched off, I was confronted by an adversary who threw my partner to the floor before turning on me. Tony’s training just ‘kicked in’ and superseded everything (even my fear and fury at seeing the woman I love miss treated). I won the very short and one way altercation that followed - the bully was caught by surprise by the reactions that Tony had drilled into me - and then Tony’s training kept on working as I was able to understand and deal with the post fight adrenaline dump (something that helped both my partner and my self). This might never have happened to me, I hope it never happens again, but it did, and all the work, laughs, help, and advice paid off. Tony’s IKI,as I’ve said, is real training for real people who want to live peacefully in the real world, but who also want to be able to deal with the unknown if and when it might arise.

Best place in the UK to learn Krav Maga. Tony is a very experienced instructor, teaching practical and effective KM skills to all age ranges. This isn't for everyone as it can be quite brutal, however if you ever need the skills you will be VERY glad you learned them here with the crew.
