Lockdown purchaseI naturally was worried to buy a car online but after speaking to Tom he put my mind at ease. He answered all my questions, sent me requested pics and offered a video of the car. I decided to go ahead and was pleased i did. I picked the car up a few days later and it was prepped to perfection! One of the rare genuine car sales with the non pushy approach! Give them a try. I've just picked up my lovely new car and can’t begin to say how pleased I am with it, and with the service I received from Dan. It was immaculate inside and out and Dan couldn’t have been more helpful. He made the whole experience easy, with absolutely no ‘hard sell’, like I’ve experienced in the past when purchasing a car. We have recently purchased a car from Clearwater. Having called ahead we arrived to find the car taking center stage and looking immaculate. All of the sales team were very welcoming and a test drive no problem for them. The car was just what i was looking for and at the right price, but when I explained I had another car to see that day they didn't turn off or become disinterested. In fact the other car was not presented to the same standard so i was happy to call Clearwater and do a deal on the phone that afternoon. The sales team were all very attentive and offered a constant supply of coffee whilst we either waited or were doing the paperwork. Special mention to Dan who helped us out tremendously. We were not buying the most expensive of their cars in stock but we still felt like important customers. All in all a very pleasant buying experience.

5 stars isn't enough for me when it comes to Clearwater Automotive, After a very bad experience with a different dealership i was nervous about getting another car but from start to finish these guys couldn't do enough for me, i was a bit fussy on what i wanted but they didn't stop looking and then when they did find what i wanted they ensured it was exactly the spec i asked for and in the price range i wanted. The car itself runs like a DREAM and was immaculate when i collected, They have spoken to me twice since i collected the car a month ago just to ensure everything is okay. Amazing service and great selection of vehicles!

Great guysThe guys at Clearwater are friendly and very professional, Recently purchased a car from them and travelled close to a 7 hour round trip!!! Well worth it though and am over the moon with my new car, Highly recommended and well worth the travel if you are thinking about getting a vehicle. from them. As described and no issues so far .

What can I say... simply a fantastic genuine company.Extremely fast hassle free finance, with minimal stress and A class customer service.Fast deal completion so that we spent more time in our new car then we did in the office.Whilst waiting for the paperwork to be done we was provided with drinks and refreshments, the staff evan went out of there way to ensure our 4 year old boy was entertained whilst signing the paperwork, to the extent of going and buying him ice lolly’s in the extreme heatwave we have recently had out of there own pocket.Great selection of quality used cars well looked after and prepared to an outstanding condition and will defiantly be going back when we upgrade in a few years time.Check them out you won’t be disappointed at all!

Started off great, ended up almost being the worst decision I've probably ever made. The sale was great and Tom was great. I chose to buy from Clearwater in the midst of the covid lock down and of course couldn't view the car before purchasing so a lot of trust went into the transaction, in hindsight I should have waited to view the car. Tom was very reassuring and did me a decent deal on the car so I went ahead. I didn't complain when the car turned up with a big chip in the windscreen and two dinks just above the rear passenger window. Not ideal because I hadn't been told despite asking specifically about the condition, but not the end of the world. Prior to purchase I asked for a specific fault known to the model of car to be checked, I was told it was checked and was fine. Unfortunately within a month the car displayed the fault and I contacted Tom for advice - the fault is a £6000+ repair which is known and documented by the car manufacturer as from factory, most owners were lucky enough to have this fixed whilst under manufacture warranty. Again Tom was great and promised that between us we would sort it. After initial diagnosis and finding out the warranty I was sold wouldn't cover the cost I asked to return the car (in line with the 30 day right to reject) I then got passed over to his father who tried to suggest it was just a characteristic (which wasn't present before purchase apparently?) emotionally blackmailing me into accepting the car as it is and acted like I had no idea what I was talking about despite being a car enthusiast myself. I was accused of all sorts from forcing the fault to happen and causing it myself - despite the fact I'd done less than 100 miles due to lock down restrictions - to simply changing my mind about the car. There was no offer made to collect and look at the car, they only offered me to bring it to their 'specialist' (a 3 hour drive in a faulty car) and a 'specialist' who couldn't even confirm what type of oil they'd put in the car (which was later inspected and reported as the wrong oil). I gained a second independent reports which aligned with the first, car needed a new gearbox. I then again requested in line with my rights a refund, repair or replacement and was again treated like a criminal by Tom's father. After 3 months of correspondence I never even received a sincere apology for the inconvenience, expense, anxiety or situation. I'm not sure if they knew the car had the fault or not, but quite frankly the service I received after reporting it would suggest they did as they were so quick to accuse me of everything under the sun. However their complete lack of knowledge on the car suggests otherwise. I don't think they sell bad cars in general but unfortunately they sold me one with a fault and wouldn't do anything about it. I wouldn't chance buying anything expensive from them as if there is a problem, in their words, even if they wanted to, they can't afford to resolve these sorts of issues and you will need to take them to court to see any resolution. Luckily for me I have have a managed to find another avenue of resolution on this matter, but I will be ensuring my forum members know to avoid purchasing from here and other private firms can thank them for never having my custom again, main dealers only now. At the least they can afford to resolve a problem/fault and can't freely treat their customers like idiots in the face of a problem. If I am further accused of never being a customer or something ridiculous, I will happily share all correspondences on the matter. Being treated like a human being and an apology was all that was needed to avoid this review, especially after purchasing a £25,000 car.

I bought my lovely new car from Clearwater and was so impressed with the customer service I received. Andy had the car waiting in an immaculate condition ready for a test drive when I arrived. He was very knowledgeable about the workings of the car and happy to answer all my questions. The paperwork was completed with no hassle and nothing was too much trouble.
