I started working for Right at Home after looking for a new industry to get into. I had never worked in the care sector before and felt the induction training and shadow shifts made my journey at the start very easy andthe information and knowledge I learnt made the transition into the care world smooth. I got the support and guidance I needed and I was soon out in the community working with our clients confidently. After a few months, I got the opportunity to transition into the office and worked as the office administrator.I loved working for Right at Home and I feel like it is more a 'family feel' atmosphere. The team are all wonderful people and support you with anything you need.Carers are true heros!

I have worked for right at home for 1 year 9 months. The training and support from this company is fabulous. I came from a beauty background and wanted to help out and keep myself busy in the first lockdown. I found myself staying on even though I can do my other work now . I even got a level 2 dementia qualification . I find the few hours I do now as a care giver very rewarding.A very wonderful group of people!

I arrived in the UK in June 2018 from South Africa with my husband and 2 kids. I was really unsure on which career path to take, I was looking for something that allowed me to fit around my children's needs, to help them settle into a new country.I had never worked in care before as I came from an HR / Administrative background. I was lucky enough to join the RAH team in August 2018. As I had no experience, I was given full training to help me succeed in my role. I felt apart of a team, I was always supported by management and my colleagues. I loved the open door policy.I have built some wonderful friendships with both colleagues and my clients. I was very sad to be leaving the RAH family, but due to my husbands work commitments we had to relocate to the midlands which is an 1 hour 30 min away.I cannot thank the RAH staff especially Sam and Danny for giving me the opportunity to work for you, I have now got such a passion for caring that I am starting a new Care position here in the midlands in a week.I wish you all the very best, and I hope that one day you will look to open another branch here so I can join the team again.Kind Regards,Hailey James

I joined RaH in February 2018 after finishing my maternity leave. I previously worked in an office environment so RaH was the first experience I had working within the care sector. I needed a job that I could fit around my family, but also give me the job satisfaction I was desperate for. This is exactly what RaH gave me. The whole team are more of a family than colleagues and the management were always there to support me whenever I needed it - nothing was ever too much trouble, and thanks to the way the company match you up to each client, I have developed some wonderful relationships with the clients too! Unfortunately, I am having to leave RaH due to personal circumstances, but I hope that I can come back one day! I am truely grateful to have been given the opportunity to work for such an outstanding company, an amazing team and for such wonderful owners like Sam and Danny.

I was with RaH for one year, but took a personal decision to head to Australia for 12-18 months. I came from a finance & audit background, so working with RaH was my first experience in care. I really wanted to try something more fulfilling and I definitely found it. I felt well supported by management during training, shadowing and throughout the year. It’s a great culture where I felt free to ask questions and make suggestions. The clients are very friendly, and I was given quite stable rotas so I got to visit the same clients and built relationships with them.From the very beginning, I found both Sam and Danny so passionate and committed to the business, the clients and the staff. I thoroughly enjoyed working for them, and would love to be part of the team again one day. Thank you Sam and Danny for making my experience in care such an incredibly pleasant one.
