Discovered Cathie's evening classes during the pandemic and joined as soon as I was able to, been going ever since. Cathie is so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I started with a one to one session to learn the basics of my sewing machine and came away with a cute pin cushion. Since then I've created a wardrobe full of dresses and the confidence to make more at home. Classes are great for support with new skills, help with fitting and the joy of sharing creations with fellow students.Highly recommend for new sewists or folks wanting to expand their skills.

Cathie's sewing classes are so friendly and helpful. I was a complete beginner and she patiently helped me learn basic things got me started on little projects to begin with and saw them through with advice and teaching. There are also people who are experienced and skilled and they come along and enjoy the company and get help with complicated things!

Cathie is an excellent and patient teacher. Sessions are tailored to individual needs which is great. One week I may be learning how to cut a pattern and another week practising buttonholes. Other weeks just straightforward sewing with Cathie there to advise as necessary. Great to meet new people and sew in company.

I have just started dressmaking and have enrolled in Cathie's Creative. She has had her work cut out with me but Cathie has been wonderful, very patient and great at teaching the rudiments of dressmaking. I can't wait for each lesson and feel I am improving each time. If you fancy learning to sew properly, then Cathie's Creay is the place to go.

Cathie is a very skilled tutor with a lot of professional experience and no query defeats her! At the same time she is really patient with sewers and always encourages you to have a go. I never thought I would be capable of making the lovely things I have sewn with her help.

I came to Cathie to help with my daughters bridal gown in 2019 and found her so helpful, innovative and such a boost when I was getting bogged down that I have recently returned to give my future daughter in law the dress of her dreams.I seriously recommend Cathie to help with new skills or advancing any you already have

What a great place to sew! Cathie is so knowledgeable and can assist with any sewing issues from threading a needle to full pattern adjustments. She has helped me to create outfits that I wear every day and outfits for special occasions. I would recommend her classes whether you are a beginner, if you are looking to improve your skills or if you simply enjoy sewing and want to sew alongside others. You will gain confidence and become a more adventurous sewer.
