This is the most beautiful wedding venue hosted by the most gorgeous family.We had the most wonderful weekend, which was sympathetically and enthusiastically hosted by Gavin, Vicki and family. If you want a personal touch, not to feel rushed, with a strong focus on ecology, the environment and being is a beautiful place then this is a wonderful choice for you.Gavin and Vicki were super flexible and we had our ceremony in the boat house by the lake and then the registrar met us in there woodlands to make it official. Followed by food and dancing in the hall. All of there's locations are stunning and obviously cared for by our hosts with great passion.The canoe bar by the lake to serve drinks is a beautiful touch.The day after the wedding not having to rush off was wonderful. We had the venue from the Friday to the Monday with the Saturday being our big day. With guests staying on site between the beautifully furnished cottages and the bell tents. The next day we had plenty of time to spend with guests. A walk down to the diver for a dip is wonderful. With plenty of time to reminisce over the past day. And a wood burning hot tub on the Sunday evening with woodland views was a special way to finish.We can not find fault with our experience and would enthusiastically recommend Clifford Barton.

Our wedding at Clifford Barton was just magical! The venue is so beautiful and the perfect space. The first thing all the guests said was how fantastic the setting was. Getting married on the bridge was incredible and so nice we could share with our friends and family. Gavin and Vicki went above and beyond what was expected on the day and made everything so easy across the weekend. I could not recommend them enough!

We had our wedding at Clifford Barton in September this year. From the first 10 minutes of viewing this venue we fell in love with the incredible scenery, peaceful vibe and friendly owners. Over the 2 years from the date booked to the wedding day Vicki and Gavin have been outstanding we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day, themselves and there team stepped in at every point to help the day run smoothly and stay on track.The cottages for ourselves, family and friends added that extra special touch and made it a wedding weekend not just the day, they where full equipped, bright and warm and extremely comfortable beds too.The only thing I would add would be it might be good to have a wedding reversal/run through of the ceremony before the day, so everyone knows the timings/ plan and the part they need to play.Overall I couldn’t rate this venue high enough and Vicki and Gavin should be incredibly proud of the support and the perfect venue they’ve built for perfect weddings.

We had a truly brilliant time at Clifford Barton. The hosts, Gavin and Vicki, were absolutely superb. One of our guests said 'they are worth their weight in gold' and I could not have said it better. We had somewhat changeable weather and they allowed us to plan both an inside and outdoors ceremony and remained flexible to the very moment we tied the knot. The venue is spacious and cosy at the same time - perfect for a comfortable family feel. We could not have chosen a better venue for our day - thank you for everything.

We had the most fantastic wedding at Clifford Barton and Vicki and Gavin were amazing all the way through the process. If you want an outdoorsy wedding in idyllic surroundings with a relaxed and fun-filled atmosphere with all your friends and family able to stay close by for a whole weekend of festivities, then look no further. The setting, both the surrounding countryside and the cottages and barn, is beautiful, and getting married by the lake honestly couldn't have been more romantic. We felt that the price of the wedding was reasonable and the level of flexibility was outstanding. Thank you so much and we cannot recommend Clifford Barton highly enough as a place to get married!

This venue is just the best! Beautiful lakeside ceremony, peaceful rural barn location, fantastic wood-fired hot tub with woodland views, and a stunning eco cabin for the newly weds. The accomodation is really top quality.Vicki, Gavin and family were wonderful hosts who really made the day, their input and help was invaluable, and made our day even better than we could have imagined.

We had the honour of getting married at Clifford Barton this Summer and it was absolutely perfect in every way! Such an incredibly beautiful venue and Vicki and Gavin were always there to lend a hand when we needed it. We really felt like we were in our own forest bubble at Clifford Barton and we couldnt have asked for anything more! A truly special venue, with a really nice vibe, which is made even better by having such relaxed and positive hosts (Gavin and Vicki). I grew up just down the road, and can honestly say that they possess the most beautiful view of the Teign Valley.

What a lovely venue for a wedding or any other special occasion.Hosts also very friendly and helpful.Venue looked amazing with all its lighs and very classy and subtle decor.
