Parents took our dog here 5 weeks ago with a sore elbow, they just gave us painkillers to give him. My parents continued to take him back as it got worse, they gave more painkillers and a referral for a scan. My parents took him back 2 weeks later as he was in a bad way and they gave even stronger painkillers. My parents then pushed for a specialist vet referral and got one but Broadway asked them to our dog in AGAIN to examine him as “that is what the specialist had asked them to tell us” even though he was in the night before. My mum rang the specialist who said they did no such thing and to not take him to the vet and wait for a call from them later in the day. The specialist was great and were shocked at the total lack of care and investigation from Broadway . He was put to sleep following day at age 5.After a scan and bloods it was found he had a fracture, muscle wastage and a bone cancer that may have been picked up if they’d taken bloods and a X-ray completed. Absolute no interest other than taking cash and completing pointless consultation to tell them the elbows sore which my parents knew already.As my dad said we should have moved our dogs from there when other people he knew had bad experiences and moved theirs.If you love and care for your beloved pets look for another vet.

Why I never got to changing I’ll never know snd always regret

We only popped in as we found a lost dog, they were very helpful indeed and genuinely cared about the dog. They wouldn't take the dog in but gave us advice and some phone numbers.

Took my dog there today (it's sister practice in Wallasey is closed at the weekend) to be put to sleep. The vet and support staff were exceptionally caring and thoughtful. The vet spent most of the time whispering so to ensure that my dog remained calm and relaxed in her final moments. This meant more to me than anything. So very pleased with their professionalism. Also the price was very competitive for services rendered. Thank you x

Excellent practice. Lovely staff that are both highly competent and caring. Wouldn’t take my extremely nervous dog anywhere else as they have provided her with superb care throughout her life.
