Those who have graduated from LBS will know that the above description doesn't even scratch the surface when it comes to describing what you can take away after four weeks.When it comes to value for money, I'll save you the time of deliberating or guessing if you are going to get what you paid for: 100%. In my opinion the knowledge, contacts, skills, theoretical knowledge and the experience of the course itself greatly exceeds what is definitely a very modest price.Vince is a phenomenal teacher who manages to keep every day of the course fun and entertaining whilst ensuring that the class remains focused. He pushes every single student to give their all and provides the right amount of support and advise when it's needed. Vince constantly reviews the course material and makes any required changes to make sure that everything you learn is completely relevant. The advise you can give is completely invaluable and when you speak to other bartenders, bar managers and GM's around London, you find out how well regarded and respected he is by is contemporaries. Oh... and make sure you listen to the many stories he has - they're brilliant!As well as Vince, you also get the opportunity to learn from some of his former students. Whilst I'm sure a wide range of Vince's students have returned to provide assistance and experiences, for me, I was lucky enough to spend time with Federica, David and Silva - all bar managers! All three had amazing and complementing personalities and like Vince, pushed for you to the best you can.Vince, his former students and they way he structures the LBS makes for an incredibly enjoyable educational experience. I promise you, that the more you put in and the harder you study, the more you get out at the end. Skip the BS (Vince and the gang see right through it), work hard and you'll leave with a greater degree of knowledge and skills than some bartenders who have spent years behind a bar!If Vince ever decided to add any further courses to LBS, I'd sign up in a flash!

I trusted the reviews of this school and I was not disappointed,no bot is capable of producing the quality of writing in terms of satisfaction with the course.An intense 4 week course, so that means partnering up and finding yourself a study buddy.Work hard and play hard is very much the attitude you would be expected to develop so make sure you buy Vince a drink or two at the pub during the weekend and he'll always remember to get you back a round.Worth every penny. This is the course you want to take.I just finished the 4-week Programme with Vince and London Bar School and conclude undoubtedly that if you want to get into bartending or are already quite experienced, this is the course you want to take.I was not only taught skills, theory and everything else there is to know in the world of bartending but also motivated to deepen my skills, gain confidence and was provided with an overall amazing experience. The days were intense, never boring and never short of laughter and banter.I found a friend for life, a new passion and in Vince Silva a great teacher, mentor and friend.Most people get offered jobs right after the course ends.If you’re willing to put the work in, you will come out as a skilled and confident bartender. This course is genuinely inspiring

The London Bar School not only has friendly, experienced and very skilled teachers, but quality equipment, wonderful atmosphere and a fantastic learning structure.During my time there I learned how to flawlessly create over 80 beautiful and delicious cocktails from memory. I also stay in touch with several of the other students and teachers, and am now the manager of a cocktail bar.Could not have asked for a better experience :)Would recommend to anyone!

This is a thoroughly enjoyable and informative course for anyone that is interested in learning about cocktails and the basics of bar-tending. Vince and his team are extremely knowledgeable and great at helping to develop the skills of their students.As well as being interesting, the course is fun, well structured and great value for money. Students are expected to study the course material and learn the recipes, but doing so just helps to get the most out of the course. Having just graduated, I feel fully prepared to go into a bar and start showing off the excellent techniques I developed on the course.

Sitting here and writing this review a few days after you come back to your own country is still surreal. What can I say? The entire course of 4 weeks had been life-changing on so many ways, and not just the bartender skills you learn from Vince.1. Friendship: I've met with amazing people, and I am certain those of you who consider going on this course will as well. I advice you to sign up for the hostel package, because that is the best way to make new friends and learn more about yourself. You eat together, party together, live together, and most of all, study together and push one another to become better.2. Teachers and Course: Vince, Alex and Lucas are all amazing bartenders and teachers in their own rights. It was a privilege to be taught by them, and you can tell that they all know their stuff. They are methodical, friendly and finds ways for you to learn the various techniques so you understand by the end of week 3.3. Experience: Before coming to this course, I've already been a Bartender for two years. Working on shore, and off-shore on a cruiseship. I took this course without much expectations as I thought I already knew stuff. And boy. Was I wrong. Even if you are an experienced Bartender, or just starting out with no experience, what you learn from this course is so much more worth than all the money you make.I could go on and on, especially about all the crazy things we did outside of class... so I will leave this with a HUGE note of recommendation, and a an advice. Remember to study!!! Play hard, and WORK harder. London's Nightlife is amazing, but don't forget why you are here.- Veji

Having recently decided to change careers, I researched bartender schools in London and came across this little Gem. From first speaking with Vince, the London Bar School Mentor and teacher, I knew this was the right choice for me. The course is very intense but the style in which Vince teaches, keeps you interested and completely on your toes. He does not want anybody to fail and so he will dedicate more time if he feels you need that extra help. I have learned so much more than just how to make the perfect Cocktail and that's thanks to Vince and his trainers. Luckily all the students on the course were lovely and being the oldest member of the class was definitely not a problem, especially when Vince was telling his funny stories!! So to sum up, I could not recommend this course highly enough. Excellent!!
