Michael was an excellent skipper and very knowledgeable. Charter ran smoothly from start to finish. He knew and provided all the local history, geology and wildlife facts. Most importantly he was an excellent fisherman. We caught a few pollock and another sort of fish I forget the name now. Saw some dolphins, sea eagles seals.The vessel is clean and tidy, good vessel fit for purpose. Easy and clean bathroom, plenty of inside seating.I run my own charter in Australia and couldn't fault this operation. Highly recommend.

I have gone fishing here many times and there are a whole host of fish to get such asMakerel (almost guaranteed on a good day)Gurnard (rare and very interesting to look at)Whiting (only ever seen 1 but not too rare)Pollock (quite rare and usually rather large but varies)Cod (rarer than a Saith but possible, size vaties)Saith (not very common but likely on a long trip, size varies)Conger Eel (2 eels live in a shipwreck nearby)Smoothhound (rare)Tope(rare)Skate (1 not been caught yet)Stingray (rare)Definetly recommend it.Very nice place

AMAZING trip!!!! My family (husband, brother-in-law, and our 6 teens) went out on a 2 hour fishing trip. Expecting a fishing trip. They got so much more! They caught more fish than anyone expected which was exciting enough. But then the boat captain took them by a shipwreck and shared the history of it. They even got to see baby seals. The guys on the boat were the best. They were accommodating, friendly, helpful, encouraging and funny. Both my husband and brother-in-law have made multiple deep sea fishing trips in the states and said this trip was by far their favorite!

Bloody brilliant :) my family and myself spent a couple of hours out with the boys chasing Porpoise and seals, we saw plenty of wildlife thanks to our superb spotter :) and very knowledgeable skipper, nothing was too much trouble for them and they are a really friendly pair, I cant wait till my next holiday in Scotland, will certainly be going out again on the Spirit of Adventure

Demi-journée vraiment extra en compagnie de Michael et de Curlan, tous deux professionnels irréprochables. Pêche incroyable de maquereaux par les enfants, phoques et dauphins, aigles de mer… le tout dans une ambiance particulièrement joyeuse et chaleureuse. Bateau en excellent état, excellents contacts administratifs pour la réservation la veille, bref structure à recommander tout particulièrement ! Merci à toute l’équipe !

We went out with Angus on the rib for 2 hrs. Absolutely fantastic, so good we went twice in the same week. Went on the spirit of adventure in 2011 which was also brilliant, but as a family we all loved the exhilaration of the rib. Angus was very friendly, knowledgeable and obviously loves the wildlife. We will see you in October 2016!

We had no fishing experience, and the guys took awesome care of us, knowledgeable and welcoming. We had a 2 hour experience of a lifetime, the scenary alone was beautiful, and we came away having caught a number of mackerel! Would recommend these guys to anyone in the same boat as us.
