Fantastic Christmas gift. Claudia was very welcoming with tea/coffee on arrival. Frances was a great teacher and made us feel very relaxed and at ease. We were shown different techniques and how to mix paint. As a complete beginner this was all extremely useful. All equipment, paint, palette, paper, pencils, etc were all waiting for us at our own work benches. Plenty room and great light due to the glass roof. Got so much pleasure from this enjoyable day. Lovely lunch and very positive vibe.

This was my first ever Art Course and I was a little apprehensive. However I immediately felt at ease. The Studio was a lovely light and airy space. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Sally the tutor created such a supportive and encouraging atmosphere working with a group of very mixed abilities and experience. I found the day to be great fun and really rewarding. I learnt some new skills, met some great people and came away inspired to try some more. I couldn’t recommend it enough

I really enjoyed this day! After a warm welcome and coffee from Claudia, we started by doing 2-minute and 5-minute sketches, building up to a final 10-minute drawing which was to form the basis of our final painting. We prepped our canvases, took a break for lunch in the Garden Centre, came back and started our paintings. I felt I learned a lot about paint mixing, materials and techniques from Ewen, and it was lovely to talk to the other people there too. Many thanks!

I had a brilliant day with Art4you last Saturday taking part in the Mixed Media workshop. Sally the tutor was a great teacher, clear, inspiring and supportive. We did a range of really interesting exercises devloping as the day progressed using different techniques and mediums. I really enjoyed the day, the studio is fab with great light and a lot of space and the materials supplied were of excellent quality and plentiful! Great to have met Claudia who set up this fab project and feeling very inspired to join a weekly class and to attend future workshops.

I was given the days art class as a gift & have asked to have the same every birthday. I had a brilliant day in the art studio. I am a complete novice & the pace & work was suitable to every level. Claudia & Sally were both lovely very welcoming. The quality of the products & the studio were fabulous. It was so relaxing & I am looking g to take regular classes soon. Would have no hesitation in recommending booking a session. Hope to be back soon.

This was a great workshop. Jill’s love of plants and in particular sunflowers was infectious. Drawing our attention to the detail in the beautiful examples she had for us to work on was fabulous . The day simply flew and gave me the inspiration to finish what I’d started and try to paint some more. These one day workshops are a great way to immerse yourself in something new, meet new people and enjoy the wonderfully calm and welcoming Art4you studio

I thoroughly enjoyed the printmaking workshop with Jill. We packed so much into one day and I was delighted with what I made! Jill explained the processes very clearly and was encouraging and patient. A lovely group of women too! Claudia's commu location before and after the workshop was excellent. I would highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Fabulous acrylic art workshop with Amanda. Such a talented and enthusiastic tutor. Her guidance and tips help you achieve the very best with your artwork in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. All materials, refreshments and lunch are all provided, the venue is cosy and you always receive a warm welcome from Claudia. Well worth every penny. Already looking forward to the next one.

I just attended the fantastic 5 day art holiday at Art4you Scotland. The art studio is a great space and Claudia and Ewan are very welcoming. Claudia is on hand all day with lovely coffee and ensuring things run seamlessly. Ewan is a skilled teacher and artist. He provides you with the information you need to understand colour and the mediums you are using but then allows you to experiment and find out for yourself. The course is suitable for beginners through to those with years of experience. Above all Ewan and Claudia have created a positive and nurturing space to discover art. I will certainly be going back.
