Professional, friendly and a great photographer! I'm not natural in front of a camera at all - Gavin makes you feel totally at ease no matter how nervous or awkward you feel. A very enjoyable experience and received some brilliant photos to help represent me and my business. Highly recommended - you need to book this guy!

We did a mini family photo shoot with Gavin and had a great experience. He was brilliant with our 3 year old daughter who still thinks a slight grimace is a smile for the camera and helped us all feel comfortable. We're really happy with the results - we look like us and will treasure the photos as a snapshot of this time in our lives.

Gavin is such a creative photographer. I wanted some images for my new website and had no idea what I wanted but Gavin made everything very exciting with his creative ideas. My images turned out to be so much more wonderful than what I had expected. I thought of a studio shoot but we had the shoot outdoors and I truly enjoyed the experience. I am so glad we had an outdoor shoot. The backgrounds he chose truly added value and variety to the images. I am shy in front of a camera and Gavin made me feel extremely comfortable. He really gets to know his clients and has so many spontaneous ideas. Recently got a new camera and was struggling to get off auto mode, finding all the buttons and diagrams on my camera way too confusing. Had a 2 hour lesson with Gavin and suddenly I was shooting in full manual mode and taking much, much better photos (and enjoying photography so much more)Gavin is a walking encyclopedia of photography and puts a huge amount of thought into his lessons, without making them overly complex or daunting. Really recommend to any beginners looking to take their first steps into photography!

The best photographer in the whole wide world!!!! We mean it! We fell in love with Gavin immediately, we met him at a wedding fair in Gretna Green and knew he had to be part of our day, our photos are incredible, he went above (honestly he did, he climbed a tree) beyond and got soaking wet for us. When we contacted Gavin for our Elopement style wedding there was a real worry for us that finding enough material to photograph just us would be an issue as there would be just my husband and I even though the wedding party usually helps fills album pictures...Let us just say that any worries we had simply disappeared after meeting Gavin because not only did he immediately understood us, our shyness, what we wanted, what we were about, the tones of the pictures we were hoping for, he was so attuned to our needs that it wasn’t any real surprise when we got to see the result with awe, happiness and eternal affection.Gavin answered questions after questions after questions, knew how to make us feel confortable and I would even go so far as to say confident which I’m not usually when taken photographs of.He brought us to beautiful venues which were not just great for our wedding pictures but made for beautiful memories.Gavin didn’t just give his professionalism but his kindness and his time, much more than we had bargain for.There could be no better photographer for your important days, be it wedding or other special moments.
