Didsbury Dental Practice

Came for a hygiene appointment yesterday which from the website, I was told that it would be a 30 minute appointment for £80, with dental hygiene advice given during the consultation. When I arrived, the dentist asked if I was here for a “scale and polish”, to which I replied yes, as I was under the impression he already knew that I was here for a hygiene appointment. To my surprise, I left the appointment after 5 minutes, with no advice given and what felt like a rushed job. I attended a dental hygiene appointment last year, where I was there for 45 minutes and the hygienist spent a long time cleaning each tooth and advising me on how to care for them. What makes this matter even worse is that on the website, it states that a scale and polish is £20! So it looks like I’ve been charged an extra £60 for a service I didn’t even receive. Upon calling the receptionist, I was told that the scale and polish was the hygiene appointment, which doesn’t make sense as they are advertised on the website as two separate services at two very different prices! The receptionist was argumentative but did offer me another appointment in a few weeks, however this is not what I paid for, I just want my money back. Completely disorganised and misleading practice lacking customer service skills. Avoid!!

On one Saturday around noon, my daughter accidentally chipped her foreteeth. In a bit of a hurry, we searched for a dentist open on weekends and found this one. The good news is that we didn't have to wait long (only about 20 minutes). The doctor was polite and did a great job explaining her condition, which provided us with a sense of relief as parents. Additionally, she even had a follow-up checkup at no extra cost two weeks later.

Took my daughter who was a little apprehensive about going to the dentist. Dr Jussab and nurse Arij were fantastic. They reassured my daughter, clearly explained everything, were gentle and had a lovely caring bedside manner. Great job!

Received great care at Didsbury dental practice, all staff were kind and friendly. very grateful for Dr Raisa, she was very caring and compassionate. I remember when I had the worst tooth pain, I felt instantly better after my first visit with her. She’s brilliant at what she does, also, nurse Ghada was so sweet, she’s very caring and has an amazing approach, truly a brilliant nurse!! Thank you so much for the best care!!

I can highly recommend Didsbury Dental Practice. I broke my tooth the day before flying to America. Sephora and the reception team were brilliant and got me an emergency appointment. The dentist Shaj did an amazing job of a rapid root canal and made the tooth pain free so I could travel. Thank you for a great job.

The staff at this dental practice creates an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're with friends. During my recent checkup & scale and polish, their warmth and friendliness made the treatment comfortable. Highly recommended!

I had a nagging toothache that the Saturday before last got unbearable at 10.30pm. I googled emergency dentists and Didsbury Dental Practice came up and I called them.The lovely receptionist said come down now so I did.Dr Aziz was fantastic and took an x-ray and explained that I needed a root canal. I couldn't believe when he offered to do it there and then. So at 12am I had a root canal and walked out pain free. Everything about it was great and I will be having all my dental work done there from now on.The only negative of the evening was getting a speeding ticket on Princess Parkway going home at 1.20am (it was still worth it).Dr Aziz is top notch.

I recently visited Didsbury Dental Practice for the first time. I was greeted by Sephora who was incredibly friendly and seen by Ray the hygienist who has left my teeth gleaming. Incredibly positive experience and I will be back again for another check up.

Came with a chipped tooth and had composite bonding, staff were very helpful & kind. Great customer service. Khurram is an amazing dentist, feel more confident. I love my smile :)

Phoned them on a Sunday night at 9pm with agonising toothache which came on suddenly the night before a holiday. Within an hour, I was in the chair and had part one of a root canal and I was in the car on the way home at 11pm. The procedure completely sorted out the pain and I was able to go on holiday pain-free. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you.
