Forge Cottage Children's Art club

I would recommend Mark he is very talented and very kind, keeps it enjoyable for the kids and what they bring home every time is just incredible.however....I do not recommend the Alison it's the second time we have been to her classes both times the art comes back nothing like what they advertised and both times we have had to leave with unfinished half completed work,clearly too complicated.on collection today my youngest was visibly upset and whilst on the phone Alison came over took the paint brush out of my daughters hand and painted it all a colour my daughter didn't want and too busy on her call couldn't see my 7 year old sobbing feeling as if her works been ruined. she then proceded to my eldest daughters work and added highlights telling her it's not something she can teach just look at the picture and copy. it wasn't worth £60 spent.on complaining she told me my 7 year old was off doing her own thing that's why hers was unfinished and that she was really rude. My 10 year old will never defend her sister so when she does I know she's telling the truth, Bella had said what" once to the woman helping and she was late to finish her work as they told her to stay out longer while hers was still drying. Clearly embarrassed by the work she created today tried yo blame a 7 year old. Even if my daughter was messing about this isn't school its a fun club

Superb art studio with classes to suit all ages and skill levels.Mark the art teacher is brilliant!!!

My daughter goes to this club and its her most favourite place to be Mark is a brilliant teacher and the work she produces is amazing.

Our granddaughter attends classes at Forge Art Club and absolutely loves them! She has learned so much in just a short space of time and finds the whole experience so calming and mindful. My friend and I are hoping to begin the adult classes soon. We are so inspired!

My 7 year old daughter absolutely loves coming to forge cottage. She does weekly classes with Mark and has also done full day workshops with both Alison and Mark. Both of them are fantastic and I can’t believe her progress in such a short space of time - she has learnt so much. Her confidence has grown enormously and she is thriving, I’m so pleased because she can be quite an anxious child, but the gentle, peaceful nature of the classes have been brilliant for her well-being. I can’t recommend Mark and Alison enough - so glad we found these classes!

My daughter absolutely loves Forge cottage art club! Mark is super nice and they have everything a young artist would want or need here. Such a great little club.
