Worst atmosphere of any pub in Brighton.Went in on a Saturday night, to a soundtrack of the 'Friends' theme tune, followed by 5ive - keep on movin'.Now, had the pub been full of people ironically dancing this might have been quite funny - it wasnt.We were the only people in there, the barmaid looked even more bored than us.The music was so loud we couldn't converse,We asked the barmaid if she would be kind enough to turn it down or preferably to something more appropriate. We were told her manager doesnt like her taking requests.Clearly, your manager doesn't like having a busy pub. Terrible atmosphere and terrible attitude. Harvey's pubs are usually pretty good, this one really isnt.I've heard that there's a pub for every day of the year in Brighton, which is brilliant as it means I need never to go back to the Golden Cannon.Try the Barley Mow or Thomas Kemp, both near-by, both far better pubs.

Boring, dull, terrible atmosphere, no garden, if you smoke you have to stand on street with the homeless that usually sit outside.

Really nice, quick food consisting of pizzas and paninis. Fast service however quite a quiet atmosphere.

Went to watch the rugby. Friendly service and nice decor. Reasonable priced drinks and food. Only drawback was how busy it with only one of the televisions showing the rugby which most people were watching. All in all good though
