Fantastic salon - Friendly staff who look after you from start to finish. Martina or Hamish usually cut my hair, both have lots of experience, both do a fantastic job and really listen to what I want. While having my haircut I enjoy one of their coffees and a slice of flapjack. Great welcoming atmosphere. The owner Joey, always says hello and has a little chat. Since first going there a couple of years ago after feeling my old salon just seemed to stop listening to what I wanted I've never looked back. Thanks to the team at Ferraro's!

WOW! What an amazing salon to visit, always greeted with a smile with everyone as soon as you open the door! All the stylists have such amazing knowledge on cut and colour and always offer their honest opinion!Nothing ever seems too much trouble for them, very attentive staff ensuring you are comfortable with enough magazines and a full cup of tea!I always leave feeling like a new woman with my new hair and new found confidence!

First time at this salon and staff were all super friendly. Had my hair cut and coloured by Reina who is so talented and has done such an amazing job with my hair. It also feels super healthy and I’ve came out with exactly what I asked for. Absolutely in love with the colour. Will definitely be returning.

I couldn't recommend this place enough! I travel up all the way from London just to come to Joseph Ferraro every time because of the wonderful, professional and high quality staff who never disappoint me! They treat you like absolute royalty <3 and the high level of hairdressing is outstanding! They will listen to exactly what you want and the results are always perfect! I adore everyone who works here, they're all such hard workers and always make sure your experience is going to be great from start to finish! X

I am genuinely shocked to read the negative comments by the previous man!I have been visiting Joseph Ferrero for several years now and could not be happier!Visiting the salon is a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is refreshingly chilled and everyone you come into contact with is extremely friendly and attentive. This salon absolutely has customer service at its heart and nothing is too much trouble.Joseph is a consciencious salon owner and very talented stylist, who truely listens to what I want and creates a style that suits both my hair type and lifestyle. He will always take the time to demonstrate how to recreate the style and the best tools and products for the job.Reina, who colours my hair, is a delight! Very talented and passionate about her work, Reina is a cheerful and chatty breath of fresh air, who turns my often confusing vision into beautiful colour, which enhances my hairstyle.I do not hesitate in recommend this wonderful salon. Visit with confidence - you will leave delighted, they will make sure of that!

Very happy with my new Colour, after Joseph invited me back for a complimentary re-colour by Natalie. After my disappointment last time I am pleased to say this was a very good experience and I was treated really well by the staff. Thank you for putting this right!Very disappointed with my recent visit to the salon. The colourist didn’t ask many questions beforehand, she just assumed she knew what she was doing. Asked for honey blonde, got very unflattering ashy colour which didn’t compliment my skin and made me look much older. When I expressed my disappointment, she said its an easy fix and booked me in for the next day. After the ’fix’ I ended up with a dark, dull and reddish colour. When I complained, she said she did not use any ashy colour in first place and when I showed her my picture I took after leaving the salon after the first day, she said it was not from yesterday! I am so upset as I just wasted my money and my hair is now worse than when I came to the salon.

I noticed last week you had photos of your new apprentices training and I thought how Lucky they are starting work in such a lovely environment ...all the staff there are so friendly with all their clients and colleagues..The training and different experiences that Joseph offers his staff are amazing and certainly encourages them to shine..ultimately we are very lucky as Clients to reap the benefits of this. I love my visits to the Salon where I am made to feel so special......staff always listen,encourage and advise if needed. Good Luck to your new apprentices I am sure they will do well with the great support that you all give.

WHAT A WONDERFUL TREAT! Though it may sound dramatic, coming to get my hair done at this wonderful place feels such a treat. Staff are so friendly and helpful and always checking to make sure there are magazines or drinks while in the hair process! I love that the stylists really know their stuff, whether it’s colour or cut they always help to explain what will suit me and why!Such an experience- relaxing, smiley, friendly, great head massage, beautiful smelling products and knowledgeable staff- what more could you ask for?!Would recommend these guys to everyone, I travel all the way from Barnard castle for my hair and it is absolutely, completely worth it! I leave feeling a refreshed confidence from my ‘new hair day’!!!

Very poor experience. Arrived 7 minutes early for my appointment and was asked to sit and wait. 17 minutes later still sat there having been completely ignored. Nobody informed me the stylist was running late, nobody offered me a drink or even acknowledged my existence. I run on a very tight schedule so time is critical to me. I can accept people running late if I am at least informed. This was probably the worst salon experience I have had. I won’t be back.
