Five Star Nails

I went here for my nails done a few months back as a last minute place and much closer to home. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted very rudely by a woman telling me to “hurry up”. As I am very laid back, I just sat down and showed another lady the design I would like. The lady that greeted me sat down beside her and started laughing and munching on her crisps. The lady who was doing my nails, didn’t speak to me, which in a way, i’m thankful for. However, the lady that had greeted me was asking me very personal questions such as “Why don’t you have a boyfriend?” “Why are you living by yourself?” - This made me very uncomfortable to a point where I just made up lies (I never lie) to try and stop her from examining my life. She spent most of the time watching a film on her phone, eating crisps and making so much noise. Not one other customer walked in as I was having my nails done, which is a clear reflection of why people don’t go to this salon. As more time went on, the more anxious I got, wanting this to be over with. When the lady had finished my nails, they were nothing like I wanted, and looked extremely tacky. One of the nails was hanging off within a week. I have drove past the salon a few times since, and not one customer has been in. It’s a shame how this salon makes children and young people feel.

Horrible , rude to me kept shouting at me infront of everyone embarrassed me n made me upset

Felt uncomfortable as felt like was getting spoken to like a child. Also didn't like the fact that the technician spoke badly about other nail salons and technicians although had my nails done better with the other technicians. Messy finish but kept blaming my nails for it. Only regret is that I didn't tell her this myself as just felt so uncomfortable but wish them all the best and hope this constructive feedback helps and its only nails end of the day;) but, nice manners don't cost anything...there was no need to be so rude and patronising. Won't be returning

Customer service was terrible. Staff were rude and my nails were lifting and chipped within less than a week.

My 13 year old went with a friend today for her holiday nails (hands and feet). The lady assisting was extremely rude to her shouting in shop for her to keep still, my daughter was sat in an awkward position so did say her foot did move sometimes but the lady wouldn't listen. My daughter was so embarrassed and upset. Not a way to treat any customer never mindca young girl

My daughter's went there today, it was my youngest daughters first time here. The person who did her nails was very rude towards her. Asked does her fingers bend, if so then bend them. When she came home she had to file her nails down again as way too long. Need to learn some manners n people skills

Whatever you do avoid this place like the plague. The ladies, who work there are absolutely horrible, especially the small one it is absolutely disgraceful how they have talked to my wife my wife went here to get her nails painted today. When she came out. She was almost in tears and very deeply depressed. The lady who works here said I’ve never seen nails like yours before why are they so weird? She also said my wife was very sensitive and her manner and her attitude towards my wife was absolutely disgusting. This is got to be one of the worst customer services places on this earth.

Came here today was sat waiting and experienced the worst customer service ever. I never write reviews but witnessing a young girl get shouted at multiple times because her hand “wasn’t” bending was disgusting. I had to walk out because there was no way I was giving my money to someone who doesn’t respect her clients.

Horrible customer service. The owner of this business needs to learn some manners let alone customer service! She was just bad vibes from the minute I walked in. She kept pulling my hands and saying to keep them a certain way. I followed exactly what she said but she was just too obnoxious and told me my nails were ruined because of me. I have spoken to many people in the town and they have said they had the same problem. I will not be going back ever again!! Avoid at all costs!

Avoid.. Terrible customer service.. Patronising. Made me bleed on 4 fingers. Not that I complained but she yelled at me for moving my hands when she cut me then when I said its coz she made me bleed she blamed the length of my nails. Very argumentative. Been getting my nails done for years I've never ever had an experience like this.. Avoid
